OVER DEZE AFLEVERING
We are back! This week we were joined by Azaron and our friend Liv to review 2011's Flashpoint by Geof Johns with art by Andy Kubert. This is the story of Barry Allen waking up in a world without the Flash, Superman, or the Justice League. Stranger yet, his mother is alive again, and Barry sets out to correct the timeline as Wonder Woman and Aquaman devastate the planet with a merciless war.
We discussed why the reboot happened, explored the messaging of the story, and had an insane amount of fun doing it. This is a fantastic place to jump in for new readers, and a really fresh and interesting story that influenced DC comics more than almost any other story.
