OVER DEZE AFLEVERING
Carson and Miles are musicians who have been friends for a long time. Carson plays banjo and Miles plays the guitar and they love to play improv music.
We talk about the East Nash guys, the influence of Bela Fleck and Colonel Bruce Hampton, "effortless mastery", the reproduction of eels - or at least the mystery of it. They drop a bunch of knowledge on me - if you are looking for some new music or learning more about a musician you have heard of once or twice, this is the episode for you. My video editing software was not working right, so you got the raw video. Sorry if you have to listen through me stumbling on my words!
