OM DENNE EPISODE
Dave Wheeler and Tyler Carr kick off October by laying it all on the line in this high-energy episode of The Wheeler and Tyler Podcast, appropriately subtitled "Talking Smack." The guys look back on working live through the stat holiday and dive into the daily madness, tackling everything from old people struggling with modern technology to Saskatchewan's sudden nuclear ambitions and a massive invasion of red-sided garter snakes taking over homes and businesses in Eriksdale, Manitoba.
On the sports front, Dave and Tyler talk smack on the blowout scores around the NHL—including the Penguins lighting up the Flyers 8–0—while sizing up new Winnipeg Jets backup netminder Clay Stevenson following his charismatic first media scrum. Plus, the latest whispers on a blockbuster three-way trade scenario for the unsigned Connor Hellebuyck, Justin Verlander hanging up his cleats to Kate Upton's pure relief, Manitoba's brand-new ban on routine sick notes, and a $15,000 solid gold McDonald's Quarter Pounder. With Candace Rae dropping by for "By The Way," conquer-the-wheel antics on PlayOJO, and fresh Rihanna music news, this Thursday download has zero filter.
