OM DENNE EPISODE
It is easy to say we love people until love becomes inconvenient. What happens when the person in front of us thinks differently, comes from a different culture, has hurt us, or gives us nothing in return?
In this message, Pastor Tim Dilena challenges us to take Jesus seriously when He says to love our enemies, pray for those who mistreat us, and become a neighbor to anyone in need. Through the story of Ruby Bridges and Jesus' parable of the Good Samaritan, we see that real love moves beyond feelings and becomes action.
This is an invitation to live with our eyes open. Love may cost us time, comfort, money, and pride, but Jesus shows us a love with no boundaries. Before asking God to change the world, we may need to ask Him to change the way we see the person standing right in front of us.
