OM DENNE EPISODE
NCAA Champion, longtime college coach, and wrestling advisor Teague Moore steps into The Dynasty Effect for one of the most honest conversations of the series.
Growing up in North Allegheny, a Pennsylvania powerhouse that once stood among the nation’s elite, and later competing at Oklahoma State, another national juggernaut, Teague saw firsthand how dynasties are built on tradition, expectation, and talent, and how they can also slowly fade away.
Teague breaks down the subtle differences between programs that sustain success and those that rely on reputation. He shares hard truths about recruiting, development, coaching young men, and why culture erodes long before results do. The conversation dives into leadership, pressure, modern wrestling systems, and what families often misunderstand about the path to the next level.
This episode is a masterclass on standards, humility, and why staying great is harder than becoming great.
