OM DENNE EPISODE
Hosted by Josh Johnson with Regency On The Lake, this episode of Telling Our Stories Podcast features Saj Thakkar, Head Football Coach at Davidson College, for a conversation about leadership, community, college athletics, and what makes Davidson, North Carolina such a special place to live.
Coach Thakkar reflects on his first year leading the Davidson Wildcats football program and shares the values that shape his team: connection, toughness, character, and relationships. Josh and Saj discuss how Davidson College athletes are encouraged to serve the community, excel academically, and build meaningful relationships that extend well beyond football.
The conversation also explores how Davidson College plays an important role in the greater Lake Norman community through youth programs and community partnerships. They discuss the college's commitment to academic excellence, the new Game Changers Field House, recruiting student-athletes who thrive both in the classroom and in competition, and why Davidson continues to attract families looking for a strong sense of community.
