OM DENNE EPISODE
CU Soon
Welcome back!
In this episode of Suno Bollywood, I dive into the innovative Malayalam thriller C U Soon, starring Fahadh Faasil, Roshan Mathew, and Darshana. This film is uniquely told entirely through computer screens, utilising online chats, video calls, emails, and surveillance footage to tell a suspenseful and emotionally layered story. Shot entirely on an iPhone during the pandemic, C U Soon pushes the boundaries of conventional filmmaking with its creative format and deeply relevant themes. I share my thoughts on how authentically the film captures our digital communication styles and how it immerses us into a world we all recognise—our online lives. While the storytelling method is engaging and the performances are top-notch, I also reflect on my mixed feelings about the film’s ending. Tune in for my full take on this unconventional thriller and find out why I think it’s still worth a watch. Don’t forget to listen to the trailer if you're new here!
