OM DENNE EPISODE
Professor Christopher Peacocke (UCL and Columbia University) presents a theory of first person representation in perception, action and thought, and a theory of the nature of the subjects so represented. The theory offers a new treatment of conscious subjects, distinct from the options available in recent and historical writings on these issues. The account is applied to address what is right and what is not in such thinkers as Hume and the early Wittgenstein.
