OM DENNE EPISODE
Anthony Edwards' 26 points led the Minnesota Timberwolves to a dominant 117-94 home opener win over the Toronto Raptors, who were without Kawhi Leonard (knee).
The Wolves held Scottie Barnes scoreless for just the second time in his career behind strong defense from Jonathan Kuminga and Jaden McDaniels, who combined for 27 points of their own.
LaMelo Ball missed most of the first half with foul trouble but put on a show in the third quarter with a pair of alley-oop lobs and a nasty step-back 3 that got the crowd jumping.
