OM DENNE EPISODE
Marlaina Curtis shared the real origin of MK Spice, born out of necessity on her cooking show and grown out of love. After running out of spices mid-filming on Marlaina’s Kitchen: Food in a Flash, she created her own blend on the spot. That quick fix became Mild Madness, then Hellishly Hot, and soon a full range—sparked further by her son Jazz’s advice to “sell to the many.” From markets and events to partnerships with Foodstuffs and local artisan stores, the brand has grown into: Aotearoa Award Winning Spice brand Mk Spice, they’re rather nice, now available online at mkspice.nz and live at the Feastival Taranaki on May 9 at Crowded House Bar and Eatery.
