OM DENNE EPISODE
What do you do when your mind won't stop worrying and your heart feels overwhelmed?
This week on Jesus, Joy & Java, we're continuing our Promises of God Replay Series with Part 9 and one of the most comforting passages in Scripture—Philippians 4:6–7 (NKJV).
God's Word tells us, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” And then comes the beautiful promise: the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Sweet sisters, this passage doesn't tell us to pretend our worries aren't real. Instead, it shows us what to do with them: bring them to God.
When anxiety rises, we can pray. When we're uncertain about tomorrow, we can pray. When a situation feels completely beyond our control, we can bring it before the One who is never overwhelmed.
If you've been asking, “How do I stop worrying?” “What does the Bible say about anxiety?” or “How can I find peace when I'm overwhelmed?” this episode is for you.
Grab your Bible and your favorite cup of coffee as we talk about turning our worries into prayers, practicing gratitude in difficult seasons, and trusting God's promise of peace.
❤️ Today's reminder: You don't have to carry every worry. Bring it to God in prayer and allow His peace to guard your heart and mind.
