OM DENNE EPISODE
You prayed for the bigger business. More clients. Financial freedom. Influence. Leadership. A bigger opportunity. Maybe you even prayed for God to expand your territory, and then the door finally opened.
But nobody told you the answered prayer might come with more pressure, responsibility, sacrifice, risk, and uncertainty than you expected.
In this episode of the E-Forge Podcast, Cory Long shares what he’s learning in real time after buying his first RV park while continuing to operate multiple businesses, serve clients, coach entrepreneurs, build AI SEO programs, and lead his family. Through the story of Peter walking on water in Matthew 14, Cory explores a lesson every Christian entrepreneur, business owner, and leader needs to remember: the miracle can still have wind.
Difficulty doesn’t automatically mean you’re moving in the wrong direction. Sometimes the business opportunity you prayed for requires you to become a stronger leader. Sometimes growth requires greater capacity. And sometimes faith means continuing to move even while the storm is still happening.
If your dream has become heavier than expected and you’re questioning whether you should keep going, this episode will help you refocus on the calling instead of the wind.
Highlights:
→ You’ll discover why getting what you prayed for can feel more difficult than chasing it, and why bigger opportunities often come with bigger responsibilities.
→ Cory explains the powerful difference between God changing the assignment and the wind changing your confidence, using Peter walking on water as a framework for entrepreneurship, faith, leadership, and risk.
→ You’ll hear the real behind-the-scenes story of buying an RV park—from unexpectedly low occupancy and broken equipment to marketing challenges, operating costs, 100-degree heat, and balancing multiple businesses at the same time.
→ You’ll also learn why betting on yourself doesn’t mean expecting fast results. It means believing you can become the person capable of solving bigger problems, leading bigger opportunities, and carrying the weight of the business and life you said you wanted.
