OM DENNE EPISODE
Join us in this chat as Samuel talks to Markus Fjørtoft (@markusfjortoft) about the inner-media workings at Manchester United. We start off by asking what we ask all journalists: finding the balance between forming relationships with a club and players while reporting the truth and the necessary criticism. Further, we discuss his relationships with the different managers, ranging from Van Gaal to Mourinho and Solskjær, as well as Sir Alex Ferguson's current influence and the weight of expectations tied to the Ferguson DNA, and most critically, the problematic advice players are currently receiving from so-called media experts and the reasons for this tone-deaf approach.
