Dr. John Robson comments on key items from the latest Climate Discussion Nexus weekly "Wednesday Wakeup" newsletter (https://climatediscussionnexus.com/ne..., starting with the late Tim Ball, a scientist who paid a high price for challenging climate orthodoxy but stood firm. We also discuss his legal tormentor Michael Mann's ambulance chasing on hurricanes, banks waking up to the dangers of slickly endorsing Net Zero and ESG, and people needing to wake up to the even greater dangers of reckless geoengineering schemes to cool the planet... possibly right into another glaciation. And we cite Bjorn Lomborg on the double folly of subsidizing electric vehicles, accuse alarmists of playing fast and loose with the timing as well as the effects of climate change, point out the IPCC's mathematical blunders in trying to push ECS up, take an "Everybody knows" look at the supposed increase in wildfires, and dip into the CO2Science.org archive for a look at 260 years of hurricane data showing they're not increasing either.
