C. Crazed returns with “Prey,” his first official single since 2019, alongside the release of the new documentary Making Prey. This project captures the full story behind the record — the frustration, the hiatus, the writing process, the two-year gap, the two studio sessions, and the final return to the mic.
Making Prey is a hip hop documentary and music documentary that follows C. Crazed as he creates “Prey,” a song produced by Trap Bradshaw and featuring Rav Takami. More than a behind-the-scenes look, this is a raw portrait of an artist who walked away from music, battled creative frustration, and came back with a record built on pain, purpose, legacy, and vengeance.
The documentary highlights:
• the 2 years it took to finish “Prey”
• the 2 studio sessions behind the record
• the creative chemistry at Hard Knock Studios
• the inspiration behind working with Rav Takami
• how Trap Bradshaw helped shape the sound
• why this record became the opening statement for C. Crazed’s upcoming return album
If you’re into independent hip hop, Brooklyn rap, rap documentaries, behind-the-scenes studio footage, comeback stories, lyrical rap, underground hip hop, and artist documentaries, this is for you.
“Prey” is not just a single.
It’s a statement.
And Making Prey is the story behind that statement.
