The by-election was triggered after Farage resigned from the House of Commons following scrutiny over an undeclared $9.5 million donation from a Thai businessman. With 34 candidates in the race and major parties refusing to participate in what they call 'Farage's circus', Count Binface has emerged as the main opposition candidate, polling second to Farage in opinion surveys.
