Sept 30: And we get into the habit of thinking, yeah, if if something happens with with Amazon, we need to get the result quickly. But when we're looking at building a legacy, it takes T-I-M-E. And we see that with Abraham, we see that with David, I see that with my own life, and I'm sure you do too. And so we can't get discouraged because we have to celebrate that. We have to celebrate that second brick, that third brick. That's what we're doing in Leaving a Legacy and Hi, I'm Teresa Deadman and this is Kingdom Create Talks, where creativity and the supernatural collide. So if you have a heart for that, we're going to give you a discount. So so stay into the end. And then I'm going to also prophesy. So let's talk about that. What happens when we create with our future in mind? Many of us have learned to just go, okay, I'm creating an art or creating for this project or creating for a a writing piece, a blog that I'm doing, but we don't understand the end result. What happens when we look at this from different angles, which is a coaching Which I'll be talking about in coaching, and then we move forward based upon our future goal. Jesus said for the joy set before him, he endured the cross. So he had all of us in mind being set free from sin and doubt and fear because he wanted us to be with the Father and He wanted heaven to come to earth. And aren't you glad that that happened? So the choices that we make. today will determine and will create the world that we want to live in tomorrow. So the choices that we make are that's creating the world that we're gonna live in tomorrow. Ooh, so the choices that you make today, all right, the choice of being with me, the choice of of celebrating the people in your life, the choice of creating and going after whatever it is that you're called to become, then you're setting yourself up to live In your tomorrow with purpose. Isn't that good news, like Jesus? So we're talking about that today. And I want to ask you some questions. What if the greatest limitation on your future isn't your resources, your talent, your abilities, or your opportunities? What if it's simply that you've stopped imagining what God could do through your life? Now that is very important because sometimes We're thinking about our future based upon our talent, how old we are, what we want to do in life, rather than what is God imagining for you and for your life, because what He is saying is going to be so much greater than what we can do on our own. So we're going to talk about that and share some examples in scripture about that and lessons from my own life. But most people we we build for comfort. Now come on, I know that you do. There is something different about camping versus being in a hotel. That's me. So you can tell, like, hmm, what would I rather have? Well, I love camping sometimes with the family, but really, if I had a choice, I would choose a great hotel that had great amenities. How about you out there? Because comfort is what we love. some people we build for success. We're thinking about where we're headed in life, our destiny, our dreams, and we want to see if we have if we do this, then we'll be successful, right? but throughout scripture, God invites people to build for generations that they may never see. Think about that. Think about the last verse in Hebrews 11 that says, All of these saints that went before us, all of these heroes of faith. They're waiting for us to step into our destiny. So together we see all that God has. So in other words, they didn't get to see the fulfillment through you, through me. And we get to raise up people underneath us. That's the power of what we do in our kingdom creative movement. We want our ceiling to be your floor. We want that for you. I pray that for you right now. My friends, wherever you are at, you have to know that. My heart, our heart in KCM, our heart with with the movement that I'm in is to see you thrive and succeed greater than what I could ever ask or imagine. I was just at a a book launch with one of my spiritual daughters that I'd raised up, Jen Co. And so she asked me to come and speak. And so there was about 30 to 40 people there, but these were people that I had raised up. in the years that I was at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, I'm doing the creative arts there. And so there were people that I'd raised up that are now photographers and and some are dancers and some have written books and and they've gone after art. And I was looking through all of them as I was sharing and I was kind of teary eyed going, my legacy does not stop with me. So an inheritance is something that we give to people. But a legacy is something that we leave in people. So that was my greatest thrill was hearing about their stories, seeing what they're doing. So what happens when we stop asking what's best for me today? And we start asking, What am I building for tomorrow? I love Psalm 78, verse 4. I hope that you study Psalm 78. It's one of my favorite, favorite diff different psalms, but in that he talks about that we would tell the next generation. the trustworthy things. And so that's important. It's like, how can we tell it unless we live it? How can we share unless it's a part of us? So that's what I pray for you that you would get your own testimony. One of the things I love was a testimony with Graham Cook. And Graham Cook is talking to a large crowd and he shares this story because he walked by faith for many, many years and God just provided all the food that his family needed. Everything and he never asked for anything. And so it this is a story of provision. And so when his daughter is older, she's going on a missions trip. And so she raises all the support for that. And he goes, my gosh, I'm so glad that you raised all your support. And then you're ready to go next week. And and she goes, Dad, I gave it away. And he goes, You did what? And the squeaky chipmunk voice, What? And she goes, Dad, I want my testimony. And sure enough, God provided for her. But that's what I want for you. I want your testimony. I want to see you thrive and grow. I want your future to be embedded with so many testimonies of God's provision and favor that you have to tell the next generations all that God's done, just like what I'm doing now. So I I love to have some times where let's laugh at that. This is something that Steve Backlund has said that I absolutely love. Kevin and I love joy and laughter. His book, Presence Therapy, that many of you might know about my husband. But I wanted to share a story about Kevin and I. So it's amazing how many times Kevin and I we go on vacations and we check out what restaurant we want to go to. He's just he went to Southern California this week. And he's gonna be speaking on Sunday at a church. And sure enough, I know exactly which restaurants he's gonna go to to get his favorite Mexican food, to get his favorite pizza, et cetera, et cetera. Right. So we love food and we plan our vacations. Kevin, we we plan our vacations around the places that we're gonna eat. Anybody else like me? So this is what happens. We look at reviews, we look at what what happens on Okay, this restaurant has this, this restaurant has ambiance. Come on, you have to look at it all. Am I right? So that all takes time. And sometimes when we think about our calling, we sometimes just hope that it will work out. We don't take time to navigate like we do for even a restaurant to get the best. And that's why I'm doing this coaching intensive on Saturday to help you get the best for you to discover who God has called you to be. And not waste your time just kind of half-heartedly doing what you think you should do. And that deserves an amen out there. that's just part of the way that we grow. We grow by really being purposeful with what we're where we're headed and why God has chosen us for that specific area to to to touch. So let's let's go into some points here. I'm gonna help you with your future. The first point. Is taken from Abraham's life. We Abraham built for a promise he could not see. So you're building something, whether it's in a creative expression, whether it's to transform culture. But but Abraham wanted one son, as we know in Genesis 12, what what happens in Genesis 15? He he goes out and he looks at the stars of the sky and he goes, That's how many your descendants will be. And we know in Hebrews 11, he's commended for his faith. Now it was because of his lack. It was a complete miracle. He was a hundred years old and he has Isaac. And yet, this is, but but again, this is what he needed to know. Like it wasn't just in Abraham that this would happen, but it would come through Isaac. And so he sacrificed, he he said, Okay, I'm gonna sacrifice Isaac. So God was seeing how willing he was to go after this promise to obey him. And at the last minute, Of course, we know what happened, a sacrifice was provided, and he didn't have to sacrifice Isaac. And then we see the generations and what God has done in the children of Israel, and they all related to Abraham as their father. And it was all because of an act of faith. It was because he believed God even when it seemed impossible. Many of you out there, you need to believe God. For your future for by faith, and you need to walk by faith because that's how we please God. So the problem that Abraham had is there weren't any children. You might not have any success yet in where you're headed. there was no evidence that God was there. There was no roadmap. It wasn't like he said, Okay, when you are a hundred, then everything will work. no, it was by faith. So there's no guarantee of timing, yet Abraham lived with the future in mind. And we are all part of that. So every act of obedience becomes a brick in a future that you are laying to be fully understood. So every time you take faith and you lay a brick and you go, I'm going to go after this miracle. I'm going to go after this dream. I'm going to build for the future legacy for more people to create with God, for more things to happen over here. Every time you bring a lick lay a brick, God goes, Yeah, they're believing for a future inheritance. And that's what God wants for you. Even in your lack, that part of faith of stepping out into it says, I'm going to believe God past my own limited understanding. That is so powerful. So I want you to think right now, we're going to activate you. Think about something that you feel is impossible. Just like Abraham. And now I want you to say, God, show me the brick I need to lay today to see that all things are possible through you. Come on, come on. God's giving you faith right now. See, faith builds before it sees. Let me say that again. Faith builds before it even sees. Many people want certainty before action. God often asks for action before certainty. I I want to share with you a story in my own life. I'll I'll never forget. I I was at Bethel, and this was probably back in like two thousand and like seven or eight and and I'm seeing all of these miracles that are happening through creativity with my students and when I go out in the marketplace and there's so many things happening. And the Lord said he knocked on my heart and he goes, Teresa, you need to do a school of creativity at Bethel for a week. And you need to like you need to start to develop that. And I thought, what? I don't have time. You mean I have to get speakers. I had to, I had to go through okay, what workshops could I have And how would it look? Because it's it's crazy. Most of the conferences, well, all of the conferences at Buffalo follow a certain system. They have the worship and then they have the teaching. Or they could have a group panel as well. That might be a little bit like, whoa, right? So I dreamt of something different. I dreamt of having a drama right after worship and then a teaching. I dreamt of people that would be doing spoken words and be doing different kinds of stuff through writing. I dreamt of art that would release people into like healing and transformation. I I dreamt of like a fashion show that could be that we could highlight. I dreamt of all these creative ways that people could see the goodness of God. For 15 minutes right after the worship was over, that would lead to a teaching and I dreamt of like all different kinds of workshops in dance, art, music, writing film, photography, everything, a culinary. And then I said, Lord, bring in the the people to lead it. And I began to do that. And people would say that would come to my schools of creativity. They say, I've never seen anything like that. I had prophetic booths all in the breezeway at Bethel. I had in the Great Room area, which is a large room where we have overflow. I had creative booths that people could receive, ministry in art, dance, music, writing, fashion. They would dance over them, they would sing over them. And I had the children also do that with us. Now, this was a walk of faith. I mean, I I did not know if this would work, if this was God's plan, but I had to step out in faith. And my leaders trusted me and this began to be a hot spot of revival. And This led to Bethel Conservatory of the Arts starting. This led to people coming to the school of ministry based upon what they received at the School of Creativity in May. So there was a lot of momentum that was built, but I had no idea. And to this day, like Jen Co, the person that was with me that I just was doing their book signing, they were there. They saw the goodness of God. And so that just makes you hungry. So I just want you to know like it's time for you to dream big. Why not? Why not dream for your city? Why not dream for something that you could creatively do in your church to transform culture? Invite me and let's just get this this like wonderful party started. I'm doing a women's retreat in November. I'm speaking at some churches in Southern California in January. and in Colorado in April. So I'm I'm wanting you to know like this is possible. And you just have to dream big because God wants people to create with him and he wants you to be free to create. Isn't that good news? So dream big. Take that time this week to be activated, to dream with God and to find out who you've been called to be and go for it. Be recklessly adventurous because you can't out give God. You just can't. Like what I saw in the schools of creativity. Okay, point that's number one. You build by faith before you see it. Point number two, if you want to build for your future legacy, then you need to help people to build their dream too and to find out what's on God's heart. And my example is David. Who here loves David in the Bible? Come on, I know you guys all do. And in first chronicles twenty-two, it talks about the fact that that God did not want David to build a temple because he was a man of blood. He had there had been lots of wars and things that he had been involved in, but he wanted his son Solomon. That's one of the most moving stories, I believe, in scripture. So David, what he did is he provided all of the resources for Solomon. He trained Solomon. He wanted there to be a place where there was no lack, even though he knew that he would not get the credit or he would not build. So imagine that you are building for people through the generations that that well might never acknowledge you, but you're building because you know that this is God's heart. So preparing for something someone else would finish, that takes lots of guts. And that takes you knowing. That right now we're in the circle, and then God calls us to raise people up, like Paul did Timothy, right? Like like Ruth served Naomi. It's like this beautiful we we can't outgive God, and God wants us to raise up others around us, like Moses did with Joshua. So people who build with the future in mind don't need all the credit. Woo! They understand legacy, my legacy in building big people. That's what we're doing. We're building the legacy in them and we're giving that to them. And it's just important. So you might ask, okay, action step, Teresa, how do I, how do I build a legacy? You seem like you've been doing this a long time. So I'm gonna give you some points right now. Number one, every this is a write this down. Every encouragement you give away, you're building a legacy. That's simple, that's easy. Every child or spiritual son or daughter you mentor, you're building your legacy, like what I just talked about with Genko. And then every creative gift you develop, you're building a legacy. Every person you invest in, that's what we're doing, is we're building a legacy. And that's how you walk it out. And you're helping build something larger than yourself. And let's let me let me just let's do a let's laugh at that, all right? Because it's true, it's like I mean, come on, when we would go down before Amazon, some of you might remember before Amazon, we had to go to stores to buy what we needed. And then COVID hit and everything changed and Amazon packages were delivered maybe a week later and now like you might want to ask yourself, have you received your Amazon package today or this week? It's just that this I I see the Amazon little like cars running back and forth, not virtually them running, but the driver in them is they're going everywhere and and you just see these wonderful packages just appear. And it's crazy because if it doesn't arrive tomorrow It must be lost. And we get and we get into the habit of thinking, yeah, if if something happens with with Amazon, we need to get the result quickly. But when we're looking at building a legacy, it takes T-I-M-E. And we see that with Abraham, we see that with David. I see that with my own life, and I'm sure you do too. And so We can't get discouraged because we have to celebrate that first brick. We have to celebrate that second brick, that third brick. That's what we're doing in leaving a legacy and building toward our future. Okay, I'm gonna go down to my third point: is that God builds his house. He builds us through creativity. So God is very strategic in how he shares his messages. Throughout the Bible, He uses creativity to share about the story of creation, the story of what happened in judges, the story about what happened with the prophets and what they did, the story of David painting pictures about the beauty of Psalm one, that we are a tree planted by the river. look at Song of Solomon, all that Solomon created. Then you look at Jesus who told parables and how that helped us to understand and David who wrote songs. So we see this amazing I would say abundance of creativity that helps people celebrate. Like Miriam, who danced after they crossed over with Moses, like all of that, it's it's like it's the way we're wired. We are wired to creatively tell the story of God in our lives. And that's what happened with Bezalel. So, you know, here's Moses, and he has a big problem because The people worship this, this, this statue that Aaron had created, right? The golden calf. And so he knew that people needed something to worship. He knew that they needed some type of an object. And so he he he got the blueprint and then he talked to Bezalel. And it's interesting because Bezalel was a craftsman and he was creative. But he wasn't yet full of the Holy Spirit until he got the blueprint to go. This is the man who's going to head this up because I want to anoint him because he is going to be creating things that will house the presence of God. And as we know, the children of Israel took that ark everywhere they went and they were blessed because of that. So there's something that happens when we create in his presence to build the future generations up to showcase what. what it's like to be with Jesus, to understand his presence. So God filled Bezalel with wisdom, craftsmanship, and creative creativity in the Holy Spirit. So God wasn't just interested in the finished tabernacle. He wasn't just interested in people building things. He was interested about the Holy Spirit coming and anointing it. He cared about the process of creating. He cared about the fact that he was anointing people to do a task that would house the presence of God. And you, my friends, are the same way. He anoints you with an app with a purpose, an assignment to supernaturally create something that is going to change history. Whoa. And I feel the presence of God on this. If you have never felt anointed, get ready because the Holy Spirit's going to hit you in just a second. I'm going to take you on an encounter. So, so how do you how do you build this, this like legacy, like What happened with Bezalel? So first of all, you have to allow God to come into your creative process. You have to stop comparing, stop perfectionism, stop any lies of performance, and you have to have fun and play. Yes. Unless you become as a child, you can't enter into the kingdom of heaven. If you're working and striving to be accepted by what you create, you're nullifying Jesus who already died because you already are accepted. And so you nullify that. That's a religious mindset. So we have to come and we have to know if God has given you assignment to create something for some reason, then the Holy Spirit's going to anoint you. And show you how to do that with the power of the presence, who you who you're gonna be like with. Like Basildaw knew that a holy ab and others would be with him in that process. He didn't do it alone. And most of you need to know that that's why we have our Kingdom Creative movement because we have people from all over the world that are building the house of God. They're building each brick by brick so that people can understand the goodness of God through whatever they're doing. And it's so powerful because the testimonies. just come over and over again about what they're creating in the marketplace. They're creating like places for for people to inhabit God, things for them to do. It's just crazy. So and and then artists, they shape the imagination. So what happens is that when we are creating with the presence of God, We are drawing heaven into what we create. Just like the children of Israel knew that there was power in the ark. They knew when they crossed it over, they knew that things would happen because they understood that the presence of God was housed in the same way we are that temple. So, you know, musicians shape the atmosphere. writers shape ideas, photographers shape perspective. in that's what we want. So dancers communicate stories without words. So all of this is why we're doing these creative intensives in art, dance, music, writing, and photography, because we want you to know how to be filled with the Holy Spirit by these two-hour intensives and how to communicate what you are feeling and what God is doing through the dance, the f the photo the photography, the music, the writing. and the art and we've just seen so many miracles. So we want to show you how to do that. And we have a special for you. So if you'd like to come to this intensive, any of them, it's only like $15 using it's it's I'm sorry, $20 using the code CREATE $20. So we're gonna put that in the chat create $20. And you get to come and you get $10 off. It's usually 30 and you get to be housed in this two hour time. to grow with small groups, with mentors, with activations yourself, you get to actually paint, you get to write, you get to dance, you get to do these things underneath the presence of God and be shown how. This is such a game changer. So these all happen Monday through Wednesday of next week. And look it up on TeresaDebon.com, the times, and then you just click, you register, and then we'll send you the link to join and we'll send you everything that you need. So we can't wait to see you then. It's gonna change your life. And if you're thinking, Teresa, like, okay, I I don't even know how to start this process of building. I want you to know your future is built one step at a time. Many many people think like your destiny arrives suddenly, like Amazon. but destiny is built. It's on a decision that you're making today, a conversation, a new skill, a coach, like what I want to do for you. a community of people, like there'll be small groups and a new step that you'll take. That's why we're giving you the Dream to Destiny blueprint to help you get started on your journey and to give you time to be coached and to hear about how you can process stuff. So every significant future starts with small acts of faithfulness. So I I wanted to share something with you because this is all part of my heart for you is I I'm able to take the The power of the love that God has for each and every one of you. I'm able to see that. And then through time spent in the presence of God, time spent sharing with you and helping you grow, I believe that God has a destiny for you, but you won't find it by yourself. I I hear so many people that they give up and they abort their promise or their dream because they just get tired. Or they start to think like, okay, where is God? Or they try and do it alone. But I guarantee you, if you were gonna study what David did, what Bezalel did, what Abraham did, they were in community together to see those dreams fulfilled. So I think about Alice in St. Helens, I mean Alice in London and that group and they put on invitations every once a month. Where people come in and there's live poetry, there's art demonstrations, there's all different kinds of stuff that they do to immerse the culture of both the non-Christian and the Christian into the presence of God. And people get healed and saved and touched. there's so many stories that we have of people that have started movements because they just needed permission to happen. They just needed some coaching to get them into a place. and free of freedom and also a a community that supported them. So I want I want to invite you to our Dream Builder Online Coaching Intensive, which I'm doing, to discover your path, embrace the process and pursue your destiny. So you have that discount. Make sure you look it up, join. It's only $20 using Build 20. Would love to see you come and I'll be there and so will my KCM team. And Then the creative online intensives make sure that you join. But I'm gonna give you a prophetic word right now because I was sensing in closing that people were were feeling that they they weren't enough. And we're dealing with shame in our caseum thrive life right now and helping people to get free of that. And and I saw this this picture, and I believe that it's from the Lord, and it's a painting that I did of the of The keys to the kingdom. And I feel like there were people that were listening today and that will be listening to this Facebook Live, this podcast, that have looked at their life and they haven't gotten the right key. And they've tried to get that open up their destiny but on their own. And these keys are from heaven. You have to have God open up the right doors at the right time because He's got plans and provisions for you now. And so I just wanted to release people that if you felt like I tried over here, I tried that. No, now is the time to get your blueprint from heaven to find out what God has for you and where you're headed. And I'm just so excited to see all that God has for you. And I believe this is for someone too who has joined that doesn't believe that they are royalty. And God says, No, you are, and that He's giving you jewels and He's giving you His crown and He's telling you that you are. His beloved. You've gone through a hard time. I think there was either a divorce or there was a separation. And now God is releasing his daughter into the fullness of who she's been called to be. So if that's you, let us know and let let us know your story. But I'm gonna pray for y'all. And thank you for joining. And please share this episode with other people that need to know about their future, that they need to know. That today is the day of breakthrough. They need to know that they have the keys to the kingdom, that they can walk through life as David did, as Bezile, as Abraham did, fully persuaded that their future inheritance and legacy will happen because they're living not from the present but from their future. So, Father, I just release an anointing on everybody who's listening now. That Jesus, you would anoint them. That they would not stop because of circumstances or things that have happened to derail them from their destiny, but they would walk fully into their calling. So I just release that in Jesus' name. Amen. Well, thanks everybody for joining. Can't wait to hear about what happened. Can't wait to see you for the coaching intensive this Saturday and the different intensives next week.
