Today we are joined in conversation by Vannessa Ju. Vannessa (they/she) is a Brooklyn based Taiwanese-American spiritual creative in the realms of illustration and tattoo art! Focused on ancestral creation with a strong emphasis on their Buddhist upbringing, they aim to create paintings and tattoo experiences that harness the powers of deep understanding, returning to one's self, and all things ethereal. Ella and The Star Tarot is Vannessa's most recent and beloved debut project--tarot imbued with a storybook-like premise, with each card lovingly handcrafted with soft watercolor hues and strong intention to invoke the energies of peace, mindfulness, and love.
