Ben and Tim are joined by Caucasian Kaiju expert and Pod About List co-host Cameron Fetter to discuss Steven Spielberg's 1975 blockbuster classic Jaws. We get into the rise and further rise of Spielberg, Jaws pinball, submechanophobia, the incredible adaption of a pretty crummy novel, the wild production, ugly 70s actors and Ben makes the case for this movie as a microcosm for the spirit of the people of Massachusetts. Also discussed: The Furious, Backrooms redux, Avatar: Fire and Ash, a bunch of Kiyoshi Kurosawa, Nightbreed, Chainsmoker Cat plus Tim reviews Her Private Hell and the boys remember Sam Neill (RIP). We will be back next week talking about Mira Nair's fascinating 1991 film Mississippi Masala, the only movie filmed in Tim's childhood hometown! Check out Cameron on Pod About List and watch CHUNKS now on VOD. Thanks as always to Disco for the show art and to Eric for the theme song.
