How much would you need to finally feel secure?
For Eddie Holland, that question reaches beyond a bank balance. As a certified financial planner with Blue Trust, he helps people navigate their financial futures. In his own life, he is learning how to trust God with his.
In this episode of At the Table: Voices of Restoration, Eddie joins Cary Sanders for an honest conversation about money, faith, family, and the illusion of control. He shares what happened when his family stepped away from a significant portion of their income, what he hopes his daughters learn by watching their parents give, and why generosity challenges his own sense of safety.
Eddie also reflects on the courage of people whose struggles are publicly known, how his family connected with JUMPSTART South Carolina, and what relationships with people rebuilding their lives have taught him about humility and grace.
In this conversation:
• Why having more doesn’t always quiet our fears
• Moving from protecting what we have to blessing others
• Trusting God when the numbers don’t seem to work
• Modeling generosity and faith for the next generation
• Recognizing the dignity and courage of people rebuilding their lives
• What generosity costs us and what it gives in return
