Episode 283: Put it in Park

What does it actually look like to trust God when you have no idea what's happening around you? In this final episode of their Switzerland and France series, Dot and Cara tell the wild story of driving onto what they thought was a tunnel and ending up on a car shuttle train, flying through a mountain in the dark with no idea where they were headed. They talk about the difference between leaning on your own understanding and actually trusting God, why obedience sometimes comes before understanding, and what it means to put the car in park and enjoy the ride through whatever tunnel you're in right now. Pull up a chair, grab your Bible, and lean in with us.

Proverbs 3:5-8 (ESV) — "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones."
