Wright Here Right Now S1 E127 Discover Austin, Jay C. Hormel Nature Center

In this episode I’ll be at Discover Austin visiting with Nancy Schnable and her special guest Ryan Flanagan from the American Junior Golf Association. We talk about this year’s tournament to be held at the Austin Country Club and the economic impact this tournament brings to Austin and the surrounding area

Then I visit with Luke Reese, Director of the Jay C. Hormel Nature Center. Wild parsnip is in full bloom this time of year and it can be painful, if not dangerous, if you come in contact with it. We talk about how to identify wild parsnip and what to do if you have some on your property.
