00:00:02.319 --> 00:00:04.240
What does it take to make workshops work?
00:00:04.400 --> 00:00:08.400
And how can we facilitate collaboration that sticks and leads to results?
00:00:08.640 --> 00:00:15.519
My name is Miriam Hattness, and with the Workshops Work Podcast, I'm on the mission to find the magic ingredients that make workshops work.
00:00:15.759 --> 00:00:20.800
Today's episode is just a small little note from me to you.
00:00:22.719 --> 00:00:32.240
Sometimes an idea that seems brilliant in the moment turns out not to be so smart later, at least in the long run.
00:00:32.560 --> 00:00:43.920
Six months ago, I took the decision to rebrand the podcast and to stack the new episodes on unprofessionalism on top of 355 episodes of Workshops Work.
00:00:44.640 --> 00:00:47.920
Turns out this decision was maybe not so smart.
00:00:48.320 --> 00:00:50.320
How did I realize?
00:00:50.719 --> 00:01:05.040
Well, a few weeks back, I noticed that on the statistics, there was one podcast episode that received unusually large amounts of downloads.
00:01:05.280 --> 00:01:11.920
It was the episode 355, the final episode of Workshop's Work with Miriam Hapness.
00:01:12.400 --> 00:01:22.719
And I was wondering, what did I say that was so brilliant that so many people actually want to listen it and recommend it maybe to all the other people so that they also download.
00:01:23.760 --> 00:01:27.840
And I listened to the episode again, I realized that it wasn't very brilliant.
00:01:28.000 --> 00:01:31.040
It was just me getting excited about unprofessionalism.
00:01:31.280 --> 00:01:38.079
But then what I did was putting Workshops Work, Miriam Hapness, into a podcast player.
00:01:38.560 --> 00:01:44.959
And the episode that came up was the final episode of Workshops Work with Miriam Hapness.
00:01:45.920 --> 00:01:53.439
Apparently, there are still many people who are looking for the Workshops Work podcast, know that it was me and cannot find it.
00:01:54.159 --> 00:02:12.080
Maybe it wasn't the smartest move to bury 355 beautiful episodes and conversations with facilitators under a new growing podcast of a different topic for a different audience.
00:02:12.719 --> 00:02:18.479
So Insight to Action, two days, I reached out to the podcast host, Buzz Proud.
00:02:18.639 --> 00:02:22.159
And as it turns out, it's not very difficult to actually disentangle.
00:02:22.560 --> 00:02:30.159
So from now on, you'll find the unprofessionalism podcast on its very own stream.
00:02:30.479 --> 00:02:34.080
It found its own home, so to speak.
00:02:34.319 --> 00:02:46.159
And if you're interested in workshops work and facilitation and the philosophy of facilitation beyond the skills and beyond the activities, then this is the right place.
00:02:46.319 --> 00:02:51.039
I wish you fun with scrolling and listening and enjoying.
00:02:51.360 --> 00:03:00.400
And now that workshops work has its own home again, there might be an occasional interview with a facilitator popping up.
00:03:00.719 --> 00:03:01.840
Thank you for listening.
00:03:02.000 --> 00:03:03.759
Thank you for your loyalty.
00:03:04.080 --> 00:03:07.439
And I wish you workshops that work.
00:03:09.360 --> 00:03:12.639
Thank you for staying tuned and for listening to the show.
00:03:12.879 --> 00:03:23.919
I know how busy you are, and I appreciate that you're sharing your two most valuable resources with me and my guest, your time and your attention.
