Chip shares with us the importance of being eager to help those in need, to remember the poor. Taking care of those in need is a core value of the Vineyard Movement, but more than that, it is the overarching theme throughout the entire Bible. Are we eager to help the poor? In this new sermon series, we will be looking at how each one of us are responsible for the climate we bring into our relationships and interactions we have with people throughout the day. What is the impact we have on others when it comes to their experience with the Kingdom of God through us?
Thomas Dickson will use three examples from the Bible of characters who failed to give God the glory He deserves. Using these stories, we will see a pattern of how pride can lead to the downfall of a person when we fail to give God the glory He deserves.
As we begin a new series titled, "Rooted in Christ Jesus." Chip talks about how we all followers of Jesus have been given a task by God to reconcile people back to Him through Jesus. How can we represent Jesus in a way that draws someone into the Kingdom of Heaven, into a relationship with Jesus?
Kim Richardson continues our series titled, "Rooted in Christ" on the mission of reconciliation by looking at how we can love others like Jesus loves them. Kim teaches how we can become intentional on restoring dignity and treating all people equal in the same way Jesus loves us.
As we end this series, Kristen Fitterer teaches how we can learn from Jesus by loving and restoring dignity to those around us who feel unseen, on the sidelines of life, or overwhelmed by all that life throws our way.
