Today we’re finally wrapping up our series on the Centers in Human Design with my friend Kaitlyn Kessler, a 6/2 Emotional Projector and Pisces sun / Virgo moon / Aries rising.
Kaitlyn has spent the past decade building multiple businesses over the past decade and now helps other entrepreneurs focus on growing their income in a way and building a life that feels rich, not just a bank account that feels rich.
Kaitlyn has six gates activated in her undefined root center, which means she's not totally open. But she's still undefined, so she and I feel the pressure from our roots in our own ways, as you’ll hear!
As a quick recap, the root center is a pressure, motor, AND awareness center that is not about stress itself — it’s an internal ignition system that sparks the pressure to evolve, to start and finish what you're here to do. It’s not here to make you anxious, but
In this episode, we’re decoding those pressure / stress signals and talking about:
- what pressure feels like in Kaitlyn's body and how its urgency shifts when she’s by herself vs. around other people
- how the pressure of the root relates to the feeling of scarcity
- learning to trust the root’s healthy activating pressure of being motivated to get something done
- how Kaitlyn has deconditioned to not feel pressured by deadlines when the internal momentum to produce isn't there
- understanding the root center's pulsing energy, and when it's in go mode and when it's in rest mode
Plus, Kaitlyn shares a quick exercise to figure out when you’re feeling someone else's pressure and not your own, and we debunk my theory that all "late people" have open root centers!
