Benjamin Studebaker Talks Intelligence And The Natural Slave

Benjamin Studebaker joins Mikey, The Dangerous Maybe, and I for a conversation about Intelligence.

What is Intelligence? Why does the question even matter? What does the reduction of Intelligence to tasks that can be mechanically simulated do to the notion of Freedom? Politics? The Soul? Can this question lead to an emancipatory project?

We touch on A LOT in this conversation, Orthogonality, The Turing Test, Neo-/Techno-Feudalism, Benjamin's critique of Nick Land's core thesis (Capitalism IS Artificial Intelligence); and a whole lot more!!!

Thanks, Benjamin!! Can't wait for our next convo!!!

You can now get a paperback of Benjamin's book, Legitimacy in Liberal Democracies, wherever you get your books!!!
