This week on The Bubble Chat, we’re covering a mix of pop culture, entertainment, and some real conversations that need to be had.
We start off with Mean Girls director Mark Waters revealing that Rachel McAdams originally auditioned to play Cady before Lindsay Lohan landed the role. It’s wild to imagine what that version of the movie would have looked like!
Then, we get into Audra McDonald speaking out about a boundary violation she experienced over an autograph — a reminder that respecting personal space matters, even with celebrities.
From there, we dive into why intimacy choreographers are becoming so important in high school theatre. These roles help create a safe environment for students while still bringing honesty and authenticity to performances.
We also touch on Roblox, which is facing a lawsuit over child safety concerns. Parents and kids spend so much time on this platform, so these conversations about online safety are more important than ever.

On a much heavier note, actress Ashley Argota has opened up about the emotional, financial, and physical abuse she allegedly suffered from her mother while growing up in the entertainment industry. We discuss how stories like hers shed light on the darker side of child stardom.
And finally, we look back at an episode of That’s So Raven where Raven experiences racial discrimination in the workplace after a job rejection in her vision. It may be a Disney Channel classic, but the themes are very real — and it’s a reminder of why we can’t afford to overlook or minimize behavior like this.
Tune in for all this and more on The Bubble Chat!
