I sat down this morning and had a long debate with myself.
I decided to start numbering my 365 commitment blog by the number of consecutive days rather than by the 3605 day cycle.
So whereas today is technically day one of my next 365 commitment. It is really day 3,199.
That is what sealed it for me one day away from 3,200. My goal is to keep this up until I hit two 20,000 in a row or die.
So I keep going I will hit 10,000 consecutive posts on May 24th, 20145. I will be I will be 72 years old to hit my goal of 20,000 then I would need to keep writing these until October 9th 2017 too. I will be well over 100 years old by then.
This is possible. My grandmother for example is 101 and still alive today. She so she did it. Perhaps I can too. I can too. Of course. This means I better get off the couch and stop eating processed foods and get my blood pressure down.
This is an audacious goal. And with that comes some serious commitments to longevity and health. It also requires me to up my game and be a bit more dedicated to how I how and what I write about.
If I am seriously going to do this every day for the rest of my life until I am a century old that I need to get dialed in way above and beyond where I'm at now.
I'm sitting here writing the blog and now reading this blog after planning my next 360 five objectives. I have a core of 12 objectives for the next string of days.
Track record shows. I will probably achieve one of them and get partially the way on the rest. So here goes I have written my goals down decided what I am committing to this time around and today I hit go again.
One thing stays constant however, every day I write and publish my journey along the way.
My new found audacious goal of reading 2020.
Thousand in a row because of continuous daily writing seems both crazy and all so easy at the same time.
I mean, seriously, all I have to do is sit down and write my thoughts down for 20 to 30 minutes. That is not that hard, right.
Well, then I go through all the steps to publish it in the various forms video audio text Etc. I'm generally bad at all the above, but I sort of wonder what kind of incremental Improvement I will make over the next four or five decades.
What can we get really good at if we just simply persist?
Just start start and keep going every day. What will happen. Is it worth finding out? Is there something that you want to be really good at?
But I think you might Ponder what you can do every day until you are 100 years old. My grandmother made everyone breakfast and pulled weeds every day. Is she a pro at that? Probably not but I think we all love sitting around her table eating that one egg and that piece of toast that she is famous for
so here is to my latest round of commitments a new start to the 3605 commitment. But this time it's more ambitious 3,199 down and 16,000 8001 more to go.
