Welcome to Music Monday, and today we're going to talk about a relatively new artist and a song that he has both written and recorded, called Counting my Blessings.

His name is Seth Schleter.

He started his Christian music career, as many artists do, by leading worship in his home church, assisting in writing songs for other well-known artists.

In the last couple of years, he's worked with Natalie Grant and Phil Wickham, being their opening act at their concerts, and the song we're talking about today, which was released back in the last part of 2023, is his first real breakthrough, and I think we're going to hear a whole lot more from this young man.

He obviously loves writing and performing music, but he said most of all, his greatest desire is that Jesus would be glorified in everything that he does and that heaven would be made present through the way we live our lives.

It's even in the midst of those trials that we can find blessings to count the strength that God gives, the lessons we've learned, the community that surrounds us.
