🎙️ Inside Queen: Life on the Road with Freddie Mercury — Peter Hince Interview
What was it really like to work alongside Freddie Mercury and Queen during some of the most extraordinary years in rock history?
In this special SoundJamm interview, I sit down with Peter Hince, Queen’s former roadie and head of their road crew, for a fascinating journey behind the scenes of one of the greatest bands of all time.
Peter shares his memories of life on the road with Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon, from huge tours and legendary performances to the moments fans never got to see.
We discuss the era of A Night at the Opera and Bohemian Rhapsody, Queen’s famous 1970s tours, the Rainbow shows, the controversial Hot Space period and Peter’s memories of Freddie away from the spotlight.
And then there’s the unforgettable encounter between Freddie Mercury and Sid Vicious — and what really happened when punk collided with Queen.
This isn't simply the story of Queen’s music.
It’s the story of what it was like to be inside the Queen machine while rock history was being made.
🎧 Listen now and discover Queen through the eyes of someone who was actually there.
