Most people spend their lives wondering what would happen if they actually chased the thing they’re passionate about.
Today’s guest didn’t just wonder... he did it.
In this episode of The Shellda Podcast, I sit down with Talon Sei, a creator who walked away from a career in IT to pursue YouTube full-time. What started as a side project eventually grew into over half a million subscribers, multiple channels, and a decade of documenting life, travel, creativity, and adventure. But this conversation isn’t just about YouTube success.
We dive into the deeper side of the creator journey, risk, identity, burnout, evolving your content, and building a life around the things that actually excite you.
Talon shares what it was really like to leave a stable career, why he refuses to stay in a single niche, the reality of creator burnout, and the mindset that’s helped him stay consistent on YouTube for over 10 years without missing uploads.
