sQRibl: This episode brought to you by Dubby Energy. This particular flavor is Dragon Aid. My wife says that it makes her feel awesome. I can't really try it. Too much caffeine for my heart, but I can attest that it smells exactly like Smarty's, which is always a win in my book. You can also get an awesome shaker like this. This one I think is the ⁓ Joker Shaker. Pretty damn cool. So check that out. ⁓ go to W energy, put in code reason, and you will get ten percent off. And thank you, W Energy. Hey everybody. Welcome back to Reason Rises. I know it's been a minute, but ⁓ I I hope you caught my last short when I was on vacation. And ⁓ well, if you didn't catch it, go ahead and, you know, go right here. And there you go. You can catch that short. ⁓ I just wanted to make an exciting announcement. That's all I want to do tonight. This is gonna be super short. ⁓ I, along with my beautiful and wonderful co-producer and wife, have been bankrolling and working really hard on a website ever since January 2025 that I've mentioned several times on this pod called Trumpnews.info. ⁓ link right there. Trumpnews.info is not my opinion. It's not my ⁓ collection of news articles. It's not what I think people should be Paying attention to, it's not anything like that. And if you go to the actual main website, trumpnews.info, you will have a very basic explanation of exactly what we are and exactly what we aren't. Feel free to click the about button. ⁓ but it also has an archive, or or I should say that the entire point of the site is the archive, which is on a separate subdomain. That's archive.trumpnews.info. If you go there, you are going to find lots and lots and lots of articles. Now, where did this come from? What's the idea? What's the point? Anyone can go to the Associated Press or to Google or to anywhere else and just look up, you know, Trump news articles from today. That's not difficult to do. That wasn't the point. The point was There were a lot of news stories falling through the cracks. And as I've mentioned a couple of times on this pod, ⁓ Steve Bannon and Trump himself mentioned at the beginning of this administration that one of their tactics was going to be to flood the zone, in their own words. So take so many actions as an administration that people couldn't keep track, people would eventually get numb to it, people wouldn't pay attention anymore. And ⁓ they did it. They pulled it off. It worked for a long time. It's still technically working to a degree. Now, one big thing has changed, and I've only noticed it in like the last two, three months, because I've been ⁓ working to help curate this site ever since the inception, of course. And what I've noticed lately is that they've lost control of the narrative. The Trump administration was purposely ⁓ Taking so many actions and doing so many things, we wouldn't be able to keep track. Now it has more turned into they don't know how to control what we're hearing about and finding out about, and the actions that they're taking are reactive rather than proactive. So the the press and you and I and the contributors to my website. are now doing kind of the opposite of what they had planned. We are now keeping track of all kinds of things that are happening every day that they didn't want people to follow or pay attention to or keep track of. Now I will make extremely clear right now that the website is not democratic leaning. It's not left leaning. It's not anti-Trump. That's not the point. That's never been the point. The point was always to create an archive of everything that's happening from reputable news sources, from contributors, not AI, not a scraper, not a spider, from actual human beings who are looking through the news every day, looking at esoteric articles or stuff that's kind of, you know, ⁓ not exactly what they want us paying attention to. And they submit those articles. Now, when it first started, we only had two or three contributors and they were only sending things in that were stuff that might have slipped through the cracks or gotten forgotten over time. Now we are getting pretty much everything. Everything that is major news, but also stuff that might have fallen through the cracks. And we're getting it from all kinds of sources, left leaning, right leaning. absolutely everything. There's no discrimination here. There's no bias. So I'm gonna explain to you exactly the process that creates all the articles that you find on archive dot trumpnews dot info, which again, right here. But there's also a link on the main site, trump news dot info, right here. So the way that it works is ⁓ There's a form on the website where you can decide that you want to be a contributor or a funder or whatever. By the way, we do badly need donations. My wife and I are bankrolling this thing bottom to top. So any donations are greatly appreciated. ⁓ but whether we get any or not, we're gonna keep doing what we're doing. So if you go on the on the site and you go to join and you fill out the form, it only asks for your first name. basic contact contact info and what you want to contribute. ⁓ you fill that out. It it goes to us. We receive it. We contact you, actual human beings, actual human to human contact. We make sure that we're not being trolled. We make sure that you're not just, you know, somebody who's, you know, I mean a robot for all intents and purposes. And then Once we've determined that you're a real human being who actually wants to help the cause of keeping track of what the presidential administration is doing, we give you a secret email address. And all you do is whenever you're looking through whatever news you read throughout the day or see throughout the day, if you think that it's important enough that it should not be forgotten by academics, by reporters, by students by the general public as time goes on, you go ahead and just send that article to that email address. And it's pretty much that simple. Once it gets to that email address, I don't read every single article, but my wife and I do make sure that the article is a real article from a real news source that actually pertains to the Trump administration. It doesn't matter whether it's pro or against, it doesn't matter matter, excuse me, whether it's from the Daily Signal, the Daily Caller or NPR or MSNBC or Fox News or it doesn't matter. We are not cutting anything as long as it's legitimate reporting. If it is, you know, just clearly AI bullsh, yes, we call that. That's not gonna get in. But you can see for yourself by looking at the archive. As long as it's real reporting It is going in. We do not editorialize. There's no commentary. There's no, we think this should go in and this shouldn't. We don't do any of that. Once it comes in, we basically bank 10 articles at a time that were sent in. I've built a a parser engine essentially that goes through them, deletes your contact info, gets rid of all that, makes sure that you're anonymous. It ⁓ captures the headline, it captures the source of the article, and then that automatically goes up. It gets updated three, four times a day. And the idea here is not that people should be checking Trumpnews dot info multiple times a day to get the news on the administration. While you technically could use it that way, that's not the point. The point is To archive all of this so that flooding the zone can be slowed down. So that any academic, any reporter, any student, any member of the public can look at any given date or any given subject or what have you and see all of the reporting that was done on that day on that subject, what have you. So that's what we're trying to do, and we're cementing it. So not only are we listing those links and making sure that they are, you know, categorized by date and that you can click them and go to them. We also archive them through the Wayback Machine. So every single article that gets parsed also creates a link in the Wayback Machine, which is the Internet Archive. And that is uneraseable. So if the link disappears, gets changed, gets a paywall, anything like that. We have a copy of the article as it was originally published, on the date it was published, the exact way it was meant to be seen originally. And that doesn't go away. That link stays under every single article. Now, considering the fact that I'm the only engineer that's actually working on the coding for this, ⁓ some mistakes get made. There's some archived ⁓ links that fail. I'm working day by day to get through any links that fail to get archived and make sure that they do get archived properly and the parsing engine will continue to get improved and do its job better and better as the days go go on. But I'm really, really, really, really, really proud of how it's been going. I'm really proud of the contributors that we already have. I'm really proud that we are now seeing hundreds of unique visitors per day from something that I haven't even marketed that really all I've done is just make available to Google and post on Facebook for my friends, ⁓ etc. And of course I've mentioned it here. But I mean that's about it, man. I'm so psyched. I'm so happy. I'm so excited that it's working out. I'm so excited that we're getting real traffic. And it was this month, June, that we finally hit an inflection point. Where we're now receiving over a hundred different articles per day after removing duplicates. ⁓ that's really exciting. That's incredible. That's awesome. ⁓ what the contributors are doing makes me just I mean, I'm I'm exploding. I'm so psyched. The idea is that if you're ever getting in an argument or you need to write a paper or you need to look back at what happened on this day regarding The Trump administration, which I think we can all agree, whether on the left or the right, is definitively the most impactful administration that we've seen definitely since before our lifetimes, no matter how old you are. ⁓ but maybe even the most impactful administration we've seen in two hundred years. It just is. We need to keep track of all this stuff and we can't let Anything, fall through the cracks, be forgotten. And the administration as a whole, which includes the cabinet and ⁓ anybody in the executive branch, they are doing so many things every single day that we really have to keep track. If you're not keeping track, you don't know what's going on in your own country. So I urge everybody one last time, please go check out Trumpnews.info. You can click the browse the archive button right there on the site, or you can go directly to archive.trumpnews dot info. See what we've been doing. Please click the join button or even the contact button if you have questions, anything like that. It will be answered by me, by my wife, or ⁓ potentially by somebody else on our team. So, but no matter what, you're getting a human answer. And I just appreciate you guys. Thank you for any attention you're giving me. Thank you for watching this. Please go check out the site. I hope all of you are faring well. ⁓ despite whatever may be happening regarding gas prices, the economy, the war, if you got kids who are over there fighting, no matter who you are. I wish you the best of luck. I hope you're doing amazingly. And keep an eye out because this podcast, Trump News.info And all the other projects that I have going that I haven't necessarily mentioned are growing, are working, are making a difference, and it's you guys that are the only thing that matters. Without you guys, none of it will I mean it would just literally be a waste of time. So thank you all. ⁓ let's get excited for this two hundred and fiftieth anniversary for our country. You're a patriot. Who cares who's in charge right now? Who cares if you're happy or sad right now? It's in America. It's our two hundred fiftieth anniversary. I haven't had that big fucking birthday. Have you? No. So something to celebrate. Something to be happy for. So let's be excited about that. Let's ignore the fact that nobody showed up to our big fair in DC. No biggie. That's okay, because we're all celebrating in our own way. We're all happy and we're all patriotic in our own way. And that's what's important. Whether you're left or right, it really doesn't matter. What's important Is that you're patriotic. So keep it up, guys. Thank you so much for paying attention. I hope you have a wonderful night. I hope you're faring well. And I will talk to you very soon.
