MENGENAI EPISOD INI
Today’s Dose makes the Mirror before Agent idea much more fundamental than a product-sequencing choice.
It becomes a philosophy of what should remain human.
The central question is not:
What can AI do for me?
It is:
What parts of my life do I actually want to experience myself?
That feels like an important shift.
We normally treat efficiency as an unquestioned good.
If something takes ten minutes and AI can do it in ten seconds, the assumption is:
automate it.
But today introduces a necessary second question:
Was the activity only valuable because of its output, or was there value in experiencing the process itself?
Those are completely different categories.
If the process is repetitive administration, automating it may genuinely give life back.
If the process involves:
reflection,
learning,
craft,
connection,
creativity,
discovery,
embodiment,
then automating it may remove precisely the thing that mattered.
So perhaps:
Do not confuse removing effort with creating value.
Sometimes the effort is the experience.
