Our Raw reaction to the Chosen behind the scenes of the crucifixion

Rebecca: Welcome back everybody to another episode of Apps Scripts with Beck and Sam. Today we are doing a reaction video. So sit back, we're going to watch a couple of videos and we're going to get our first reactions. So the video we're doing today is the, chosen trailer. I think this is something that's going to elicit a lot of emotions. Now I think it is worth saying, isn't it? That the chosen is not a, replacement for scripture. It's something that we can use and enjoy and maybe get a real life feeling of what it must have been like back when Jesus walked the earth with us. I think The Chosen brought a lot of people to faith though so I think it's a good media to have alongside your Bible and your devotional time so yeah, we're gonna give it a go. Let's give it a go. Try not to cry. No promises here. Wow. wow. I mean. Wow. Was it in your trailer? No, no. And it was a behind the scenes, you know what it was, the get me is the, the cast. real emotion of a crucified Christ and it just it's not even the first time I've watched it and I get it every time. There's a look on the woman who plays Mary. yeah. And she even before her arms around Dallas Jenkins. There's the look in her face of her truly feeling the crucified Christ and the emotion. She meant it wasn't acting there. So I heard when they were recording this, similar to when they were, when they done the one with Mel Gibbs, what was the one with Mel Gibbs? Passion of the Christ. Passion of the Christ. So when they were recording the scenes, apparently people saw Jesus, they had encounters with him while recording it, so I think. when you see some of them emotions, they are real emotions. And I think, I know it's just one that the director said on the back, follow him. I love that, but I always get that emotional, because I think we talk about crucifixion and making way to the cross and carry a cross, but I think seeing it as in from our human eyes, I know it's a reproduction, it was brutal. Like when you truly see how brutal and what he chose to do us. For me as well, it's when they were hitting the nails and I was like, And it comes back to, know, like, we don't deserve it, do we? And you're like, he suffered so much. I think there's, I'm not sure what the scripture is, there's a scripture that says, when he was on that cross, he saw your face. I'm just like, Stop it. I'm like, so like, because he knows everyone to come, everyone who's... Like so us sat here 2020 odd years later. Yeah, when he was up there, he saw little old me and little old you and naturally did it for us. So he knew everybody and I'm like, and I always think, wow, that's it. Like, and I still can't believe what, I do believe it, but I still can't like comprehend in my head what he did for us and how undeserving we are. yeah. think they chose him, I just fall to bits watching the shows in all times. I think they got it right and they always say as well that it's not a replacement for scripture. Like Dallas Jenkins never wanted it to be that way, but he did always want to make a, from watching interviews of him that is by the way, don't know Dallas Jenkins, he didn't call me You weren't even like this. He didn't give me a call and be like, this is what I wanted. Are you okay, Sam? Emotional. Just when the final finale comes out. That's it. We'll give our... Please pay for a coffee because we will be in a position. We may not be able to recover. Right. That is our reaction to chosen behind the scenes. The last season. thanks for watching. See you later. Bye.
