Making Space for Everyone: Lessons in Inclusive Event Design with Michelle Munro

In this episode, we sit down with Michelle Munro (she/her), award-winning event specialist and founder of Loop In Events, to explore the power of inclusivity in the events industry. Michelle believes every gathering should reflect the diversity and uniqueness of the people attending, and she’s built her work around creating spaces where everyone truly feels welcome.

As a Rainbow Registered business through Canada’s 2SLGBTQIA+ Chamber of Commerce, Michelle brings both expertise and heart to the table. We talk about what true hospitality means, how to design events that spark genuine connection, and why inclusivity is not just a value—but a strategy for building meaningful experiences.

With a strong background in the non-profit sector, Michelle has spent years honing her ability to bring people together, support diverse needs, and create environments where community can flourish. Tune in to hear her insights on building events that go beyond logistics, and instead focus on what matters most: people, relationships, and belonging.
