HAVOC: Breaking Down the Eagles Defensive Line, Big Season for Jalyx Hunt?

The Philadelphia Eagles’ defensive line is primed to dominate the NFL in 2026, with stars like Jordan Davis anchoring the interior after a standout campaign—72 tackles, 4.5 sacks, and elite run-stop win rates. Pressure is mounting on Jalen Carter to live up to his first-round expectations, while breakout years loom for Moro Ojomo and Byron Young. Rookies and rotational players such as Ty Robinson flash potential, but can the Eagles keep up their production as contract years approach?

On the edge, expectations soar for Nolan Smith to finally break through, but the spotlight may truly belong to Jalyx Hunt—whose rare versatility netted a team-leading 6.5 sacks and 3 interceptions last season. With Jonathan Greenard replacing Jaelan Phillips as the new pressure generator, can this revamped group uphold its HAVOC reputation and push Philadelphia’s defense to the top of the league?
