Why The Same Problems Keep Happening In Your Life

WEBVTT
1
00:00:00.231 --> 00:00:03.054
On this episode, I'm going to teach you the cause of everything.
2
00:00:03.114 --> 00:00:08.199
What the true cause of everything that you're experiencing in your life, right?
3
00:00:08.219 --> 00:00:11.302
And how what you're experiencing is all the effect.
4
00:00:11.903 --> 00:00:13.445
Okay, so it's cause and effect.
5
00:00:13.825 --> 00:00:14.806
And today you're going to know why.
6
00:00:14.846 --> 00:00:23.134
And more importantly, I'm going to teach the process today that I teach my private clients on how to go from an emotional state of resistance
7
00:00:24.003 --> 00:00:24.925
to acceptance.
8
00:00:25.886 --> 00:00:32.318
I'm coach Mike Basfick and this is the show for high performers who tried everything else and still can't quiet their own minds.
9
00:00:36.402 --> 00:00:39.503
So first things first, who am I and why the hell should you listen to me?
10
00:00:39.543 --> 00:00:40.644
I'm Coach Mike Basfic.
11
00:00:40.664 --> 00:00:43.745
I'm the founder and creator of the Anxiety-Free Executive Program.
12
00:00:43.785 --> 00:00:46.066
Proud to say it's probably the best program in the world.
13
00:00:46.106 --> 00:01:01.172
I don't know any better programs, at least judging by the results we get, at helping high performers eliminate stress, anxiety, pressure, burnout, fatigue, imposter syndrome, overwhelm, and even depression.
14
00:01:01.924 --> 00:01:02.825
We don't distract it.
15
00:01:03.365 --> 00:01:05.427
We don't give them dangerous prescription drugs.
16
00:01:05.807 --> 00:01:06.528
We eliminate it.
17
00:01:06.688 --> 00:01:10.611
We eliminate it by bringing their mind to the healthiest place it's ever been.
18
00:01:10.712 --> 00:01:13.474
And that's what this podcast, these episodes are all about, man.
19
00:01:14.275 --> 00:01:19.339
It's about literally maximizing the power of your mind so you can have anything that is that you want in your life.
20
00:01:19.379 --> 00:01:22.462
And there's so many of my clients come in to have everything that they want in their life.
21
00:01:23.263 --> 00:01:24.185
They're just not enjoying it.
22
00:01:24.465 --> 00:01:25.648
Well, there's a reason for that.
23
00:01:25.769 --> 00:01:27.753
And the reason I'm going to teach you on this episode.
24
00:01:27.833 --> 00:01:28.074
Okay.
25
00:01:28.675 --> 00:01:31.241
So let's get to it, man.
26
00:01:31.302 --> 00:01:32.003
First things first.
27
00:01:33.186 --> 00:01:45.773
On past episodes, and I'll repeat it again because repetition is very important in the work we do and the teachings we do, but the cause of everything that you're experiencing in your mind and in your life is your state of being.
28
00:01:46.433 --> 00:01:59.440
Okay, the state of being you're in is essentially the mood you're in, right, or, you know, just the way you're vibrating energetically every day, but, or in any subject, but it's shown to you through the thoughts you're having and the feelings you're feeling.
29
00:01:59.960 --> 00:02:01.201
and what you're experiencing in your life.
30
00:02:01.841 --> 00:02:09.245
And so the state of being you're in is essentially how you're thinking, how you're feeling, and how you're acting.
31
00:02:09.285 --> 00:02:10.666
Now, there's two types of thoughts, right?
32
00:02:10.926 --> 00:02:13.807
Like self-help, the gurus, they all tell you to think positive.
33
00:02:13.827 --> 00:02:14.748
And that's what I used to try to do.
34
00:02:15.448 --> 00:02:16.729
My life was a shitstorm.
35
00:02:17.209 --> 00:02:21.851
And as I described in my book, The Broken Sage, thebrokensage.com.
36
00:02:21.871 --> 00:02:22.592
Pick up a copy.
37
00:02:22.612 --> 00:02:23.152
It's epic.
38
00:02:23.652 --> 00:02:24.693
And it's a really good book.
39
00:02:25.233 --> 00:02:30.560
But as I described there, I was trying to solve the problems in my life.
40
00:02:30.700 --> 00:02:34.545
And I started to discover, like, hey, maybe it's internal.
41
00:02:34.585 --> 00:02:35.466
Maybe it is the mind.
42
00:02:35.907 --> 00:02:38.770
And every guru out there was telling me to positive think.
43
00:02:39.171 --> 00:02:42.014
And every book and every, you know, just think positive.
44
00:02:42.895 --> 00:02:43.797
And, uh, okay.
45
00:02:44.257 --> 00:02:46.581
Well, when you were in the, I don't want to give away too much.
46
00:02:46.621 --> 00:02:53.570
It's in a book, but when you were in the places that I was in back 20 years ago, a little less than that, even you can't think positive.
47
00:02:53.590 --> 00:02:54.712
You can't think your way out of this.
48
00:02:55.493 --> 00:02:57.576
And, um, there's two types of thoughts.
49
00:02:58.277 --> 00:02:59.797
The first thought is a conscious thought.
50
00:03:00.337 --> 00:03:09.999
So if I say to you, think of your car, think of your spouse, think of your favorite family vacation, think of your favorite sports team and spend 30 seconds thinking about that subject.
51
00:03:10.539 --> 00:03:11.339
You're going to be able to do that.
52
00:03:11.359 --> 00:03:13.040
That's a conscious directed thought.
53
00:03:13.160 --> 00:03:14.680
We all have the ability to do that.
54
00:03:15.100 --> 00:03:17.581
And it's important that we focus on, that's our focus.
55
00:03:17.681 --> 00:03:23.782
We focus on the things that are our outcomes, our vision, things that we teach our clients to focus on.
56
00:03:23.802 --> 00:03:25.202
But then there's a second type of thought.
57
00:03:26.002 --> 00:03:28.684
And this is the intrusive thought if you're in emotional resistance.
58
00:03:28.744 --> 00:03:32.826
If you've got anxiety, if you've got pressure, if you've got whatever, that's where these thoughts come from.
59
00:03:32.886 --> 00:03:42.131
So when you wake up at 2 in the morning every night, 3 in the morning every night, and most people that come into my program, my private clients, they all, none of them sleep well.
60
00:03:42.751 --> 00:03:44.933
And within a few weeks, they're sleeping like a baby.
61
00:03:45.053 --> 00:03:45.313
Why?
62
00:03:45.353 --> 00:03:46.654
Because we change the cause.
63
00:03:47.654 --> 00:03:52.637
But when you're waking up at 2 in the morning stressed about your to-do list, stressed about...
64
00:03:53.514 --> 00:03:57.637
the deadline, afraid that you're going to make a bad decision, lose everything, right?
65
00:03:57.657 --> 00:03:59.217
You've all been there to catastrophe.
66
00:03:59.858 --> 00:04:00.318
What is that?
67
00:04:00.398 --> 00:04:02.039
Where do those thoughts come from that wake you up?
68
00:04:02.579 --> 00:04:02.740
Right?
69
00:04:02.760 --> 00:04:06.122
You're not consciously, you know, directing those thoughts.
70
00:04:06.142 --> 00:04:06.902
They just happen.
71
00:04:07.162 --> 00:04:09.444
They come from your current state of being.
72
00:04:10.304 --> 00:04:13.326
The state of being, again, is how you think and feel and act in your state of being.
73
00:04:13.346 --> 00:04:14.687
And every year in your life could be different.
74
00:04:15.467 --> 00:04:17.148
Maybe your health and fitness is great.
75
00:04:17.708 --> 00:04:20.529
Maybe finances are great, but you always struggle in relationships.
76
00:04:20.549 --> 00:04:25.232
Or maybe you've got a lot of fear over work or deadlines or failing.
77
00:04:26.092 --> 00:04:33.375
So you're in a different state of being in every area in your life, and it's always reflected on how you're thinking, how you're feeling, what you're doing.
78
00:04:33.395 --> 00:04:34.956
So you want to pay attention to that stuff.
79
00:04:35.016 --> 00:04:36.297
So that's the second type of thought.
80
00:04:36.317 --> 00:04:38.058
And that's the thought that you can't combat.
81
00:04:38.898 --> 00:04:41.819
No positive thinking in the world is going to eliminate those thoughts.
82
00:04:41.879 --> 00:04:46.920
If you're in a state of being, that's trained conditioned behavior, right?
83
00:04:46.980 --> 00:04:49.160
It's all learned conditioned behavior.
84
00:04:49.720 --> 00:04:54.782
If you're in that state of being, the state of being is going to extend you the thoughts, give you the emotion, give you the action and action.
85
00:04:54.802 --> 00:04:59.463
It's going to bring up a memory of belief, whatever, that's reflective of the current state of being.
86
00:04:59.483 --> 00:05:01.183
So your job is to be aware of it.
87
00:05:02.496 --> 00:05:09.430
And as I spoke about in a previous episode, you're not your mind, you're using your mind to experience life.
88
00:05:09.871 --> 00:05:10.913
And you've trained your mind.
89
00:05:10.933 --> 00:05:13.659
So you're in the states of being because of the life you've lived so far.
90
00:05:14.543 --> 00:05:22.987
And if you saw things in your life, like if your parents struggled financially or they were always really frugal and panicked about money, there's a good chance you're going to be the same.
91
00:05:24.068 --> 00:05:33.153
Or if your parents have a tumultuous, combative relationship like mine did, you're going to probably look at relationships as difficult or love as nonexistent.
92
00:05:33.833 --> 00:05:36.814
Or if you always heard life is tough, you're going to believe that life is tough.
93
00:05:36.854 --> 00:05:38.155
You're always going to experience that.
94
00:05:38.195 --> 00:05:43.478
So the cause is this internal state of being, but it's essentially the rate you're vibrating.
95
00:05:44.473 --> 00:05:49.398
If you've ever been in a good mood, right, you're in the zone and you're on fire that day.
96
00:05:49.778 --> 00:05:50.539
You're organized.
97
00:05:50.559 --> 00:05:51.620
You're getting shit done.
98
00:05:52.041 --> 00:05:53.422
Every song sounds better.
99
00:05:53.842 --> 00:05:55.004
All the food tastes better.
100
00:05:55.504 --> 00:05:56.505
You're just on fire.
101
00:05:57.326 --> 00:06:00.029
And then the next day you wake up and you're just, oh, man, I'm flat today.
102
00:06:00.049 --> 00:06:01.150
I'm in a bad mood.
103
00:06:01.650 --> 00:06:02.371
Not a good day.
104
00:06:02.971 --> 00:06:06.894
And you wonder what the hell happened from Monday to Tuesday to get you there.
105
00:06:06.934 --> 00:06:07.914
Nothing in your life changed.
106
00:06:08.575 --> 00:06:11.757
Same spouse, same house, same bank account, same kids, whatever.
107
00:06:12.037 --> 00:06:12.738
What the hell changed?
108
00:06:13.138 --> 00:06:15.079
Why are you on fire yesterday and not today?
109
00:06:15.540 --> 00:06:17.041
It's because your state of being changed.
110
00:06:17.641 --> 00:06:20.543
And the state of being, you know, people love to analyze this shit.
111
00:06:20.563 --> 00:06:22.024
Like, why does it happen, coach?
112
00:06:22.124 --> 00:06:22.484
I don't know.
113
00:06:22.544 --> 00:06:22.965
I don't care.
114
00:06:23.545 --> 00:06:24.126
You don't remember.
115
00:06:24.186 --> 00:06:29.252
Maybe it was because you didn't get a bike on a Tuesday when you were six years old and it pissed you off, pushed you in a bad mood.
116
00:06:29.272 --> 00:06:42.048
Or maybe the example I use in my program recordings, maybe I use it in my book, too, is you could be a five-year-old sitting at the kitchen table and coloring in a book.
117
00:06:42.708 --> 00:06:48.676
And mom and dad, dad walks in the door and mom and dad just start yelling and screaming, knock down, drag out argument, right?
118
00:06:49.397 --> 00:06:52.221
And it gets to this blow up mode where they scream at each other.
119
00:06:52.241 --> 00:06:53.503
Well, the five-year-old is going to be scared.
120
00:06:54.404 --> 00:06:56.186
And maybe the five-year-old starts crying out of fear.
121
00:06:56.887 --> 00:06:59.731
Now they're in an intense emotional state of being of fear.
122
00:07:00.552 --> 00:07:02.654
And at the same time, there's cookies baking in the oven.
123
00:07:02.714 --> 00:07:04.936
It's a Monday, it's October, and it's raining outside.
124
00:07:05.437 --> 00:07:07.158
Well, the subconscious mind takes it all in.
125
00:07:07.178 --> 00:07:12.543
Now, especially the traumatic emotional experience, just remembers everything.
126
00:07:12.563 --> 00:07:20.390
And now you're 35 years old, and you're walking to the mall, and you smell cookies baking from the cookie place in the mall, right?
127
00:07:21.271 --> 00:07:23.413
And all of a sudden, you go to this crippling fear.
128
00:07:23.433 --> 00:07:24.634
You have no idea it's the cookies.
129
00:07:25.683 --> 00:07:29.246
Or maybe every Monday or maybe every October you get a little down and depressed.
130
00:07:29.266 --> 00:07:30.686
You go, oh, winter's coming.
131
00:07:31.527 --> 00:07:33.368
And I have seasonal depressive disorder.
132
00:07:33.448 --> 00:07:33.668
No.
133
00:07:34.509 --> 00:07:35.570
It's all the conditioning.
134
00:07:35.610 --> 00:07:37.631
It's all the programming for when you were a kid.
135
00:07:38.271 --> 00:07:38.672
Okay?
136
00:07:38.692 --> 00:07:40.073
Or what you've experienced in your life.
137
00:07:40.173 --> 00:07:40.353
Right?
138
00:07:40.373 --> 00:07:42.674
Anyone that's ever been through a breakup, you got dumped.
139
00:07:43.555 --> 00:07:43.795
Right?
140
00:07:44.235 --> 00:07:46.657
And then you put yourself out there again after several months.
141
00:07:46.717 --> 00:07:47.858
Like, okay, I'm going to try this again.
142
00:07:47.878 --> 00:07:49.919
And you meet somebody and you're like, oh, my God, this is it.
143
00:07:50.520 --> 00:07:54.162
And all of a sudden the mind says, yeah, but I hope they don't do what the last person did to you.
144
00:07:54.829 --> 00:07:55.710
Where the hell did that come from?
145
00:07:55.970 --> 00:08:00.692
You had a great relationship, but now you're in a state of being a fear based on past conditioning.
146
00:08:01.653 --> 00:08:03.154
And now your behavior changes.
147
00:08:03.214 --> 00:08:05.035
Maybe you just don't feel as comfortable as you did.
148
00:08:05.075 --> 00:08:06.516
Maybe you're afraid that they're going to screw you.
149
00:08:06.536 --> 00:08:09.317
Or maybe you even walk away from the relationship, dump them before they dump you.
150
00:08:09.898 --> 00:08:15.321
Or you start checking their phone or their Facebook, or you start getting super inquisitive about everything you're doing.
151
00:08:15.341 --> 00:08:16.121
That's a state of being.
152
00:08:17.102 --> 00:08:21.184
That's nothing to do with them in most cases, especially if the relationship's going well.
153
00:08:21.984 --> 00:08:23.885
but it has everything to do with the past conditioning.
154
00:08:23.905 --> 00:08:25.947
You've been conditioned to be in that state of being.
155
00:08:26.227 --> 00:08:31.870
So every state of being in your life, 100% certainty is learned conditioned behavior.
156
00:08:32.671 --> 00:08:33.912
Now there's two states of being.
157
00:08:35.112 --> 00:08:37.073
One feels good, one doesn't.
158
00:08:37.113 --> 00:08:39.715
Now, there's many emotions under that umbrella, right?
159
00:08:39.875 --> 00:08:53.283
If you're in a state of being that I call acceptance, you're in love, affection, happiness, wealth, abundance, freedom, joy, peace, laughter, confidence, certainty, excitement, accomplishment.
160
00:08:54.183 --> 00:08:55.924
All the things that feel good.
161
00:08:56.345 --> 00:08:58.306
That's what I call a state of being of acceptance.
162
00:08:58.886 --> 00:09:00.067
the flow state, right?
163
00:09:00.507 --> 00:09:02.328
Always use sports, right?
164
00:09:02.488 --> 00:09:05.270
If they're in the zone, they're going to perform better, right?
165
00:09:05.650 --> 00:09:09.272
And so I'm a Chicago guy, and I'm a big, long-suffering Chicago Bears fan.
166
00:09:09.292 --> 00:09:13.515
I don't know if you can see the helmet behind me, but Caleb Williams, you know, he's got a lot of Bears fans excited.
167
00:09:13.575 --> 00:09:14.676
But you'll watch.
168
00:09:14.716 --> 00:09:22.540
There's like two quarters that he's sort of, you know, and then he gets in the zone towards the end of the game, and he makes, like, miraculous, heroic plays.
169
00:09:22.600 --> 00:09:26.102
Like, some of the plays I saw last year were like, where the hell did that come from?
170
00:09:26.122 --> 00:09:26.223
Yeah.
171
00:09:27.003 --> 00:09:27.483
It's his own.
172
00:09:28.064 --> 00:09:28.764
It's a state of being.
173
00:09:29.185 --> 00:09:30.286
He loves the pressure.
174
00:09:30.326 --> 00:09:31.867
He loves to perform in that pressure.
175
00:09:32.567 --> 00:09:35.810
And his body just does, you know, what the body can do.
176
00:09:36.350 --> 00:09:37.211
He gets out of the way.
177
00:09:37.771 --> 00:09:38.432
That's the zone.
178
00:09:38.452 --> 00:09:39.152
That's acceptance.
179
00:09:39.833 --> 00:09:40.854
Now we've got resistance.
180
00:09:41.114 --> 00:09:44.997
And I haven't met anyone on this planet that doesn't have states of being of resistance.
181
00:09:45.257 --> 00:09:46.278
One way, shape, or form.
182
00:09:47.139 --> 00:09:48.279
And resistance is fear.
183
00:09:48.840 --> 00:09:49.560
It's anxiety.
184
00:09:50.041 --> 00:09:50.641
It's pressure.
185
00:09:50.681 --> 00:09:51.382
It's overwhelm.
186
00:09:51.422 --> 00:09:52.403
It's insecurity.
187
00:09:52.423 --> 00:09:52.883
It's anxiety.
188
00:09:53.023 --> 00:09:54.183
It's inadequacy.
189
00:09:54.223 --> 00:09:54.923
I'm not good enough.
190
00:09:54.943 --> 00:09:57.004
It probably came from a parent who was always critical.
191
00:09:57.784 --> 00:09:58.944
You're afraid to make a mistake.
192
00:09:59.285 --> 00:10:01.865
There's depression, there's sadness, there's loneliness, there's need.
193
00:10:01.925 --> 00:10:02.805
Need is a huge one.
194
00:10:03.746 --> 00:10:16.369
And if you're in a state of being of need, guys, if you need anything in your life to feel better, you need a project done, you need more money, you need a relationship, you need your kids to behave, you need whatever the move to be done, you're in a state of being of need.
195
00:10:16.969 --> 00:10:20.590
And as long as you're in a state of being, I'll get to this in a second, you're going to experience it.
196
00:10:20.610 --> 00:10:21.190
That's the cause.
197
00:10:21.910 --> 00:10:25.273
So you've got states of being of resistance, all those things that don't feel good.
198
00:10:25.733 --> 00:10:26.774
Anger, stress.
199
00:10:26.794 --> 00:10:28.235
Like people don't have anger issues.
200
00:10:28.795 --> 00:10:34.420
They're in states of being of anger, learned behavior, and they're going to snap when it's time to snap.
201
00:10:35.140 --> 00:10:35.841
Right?
202
00:10:35.861 --> 00:10:41.185
And I've had buddies of mine that I play golf with, and they're some of the nicest guys in the world that are always happy.
203
00:10:41.926 --> 00:10:46.309
And every one of us, you know, can get really pissed off on a golf course.
204
00:10:46.890 --> 00:10:49.392
I saw my buddy one time who I don't think I've ever seen him angry.
205
00:10:50.475 --> 00:10:55.702
And he was starting to spiral, and he took that club and whirly-birded it down the fairway.
206
00:10:55.762 --> 00:10:57.424
And I started laughing because he didn't throw it at me.
207
00:10:57.965 --> 00:11:01.429
And I'm not a big fan of that, but I knew where it came from.
208
00:11:02.210 --> 00:11:03.692
It came from a state of being.
209
00:11:04.012 --> 00:11:05.594
Anything you've ever said and done...
210
00:11:06.330 --> 00:11:10.394
that you immediately or soon after regret comes from your state of being.
211
00:11:11.174 --> 00:11:17.680
So instead of trying to manage the behavior and fight the state of being, wouldn't it make sense to get into the state of being of flow all the time?
212
00:11:18.381 --> 00:11:19.542
And that's what I'm going to teach you today.
213
00:11:19.562 --> 00:11:20.783
I'm going to give you an overview today.
214
00:11:20.803 --> 00:11:22.544
It takes about a month for people to really...
215
00:11:23.245 --> 00:11:24.405
really mastered this stuff.
216
00:11:24.845 --> 00:11:31.527
And if you ever want to master it, right, at the end of every episode below the, wherever you click, it's, you can book a call with our team.
217
00:11:31.547 --> 00:11:32.648
You want to get it right the first time.
218
00:11:32.668 --> 00:11:37.769
You want my team, me and my team support, nolimitsnation.com forward slash book.
219
00:11:37.909 --> 00:11:39.710
And that means you book a call and we'll talk about it.
220
00:11:39.870 --> 00:11:43.091
Or you get The Broken Sage, the book, thebrokensage.com.
221
00:11:43.491 --> 00:11:44.931
We've got answers for you everywhere, man.
222
00:11:45.452 --> 00:11:46.232
And here's the deal.
223
00:11:46.252 --> 00:11:47.532
There's a reason for this podcast.
224
00:11:47.892 --> 00:11:48.713
There's a reason for the book.
225
00:11:48.733 --> 00:11:49.653
There's a reason for my program.
226
00:11:50.433 --> 00:11:52.154
I don't want any one of you suffering.
227
00:11:52.174 --> 00:11:55.656
I don't want anyone living in this state of being of resistance.
228
00:11:56.156 --> 00:11:57.257
And most people are.
229
00:11:57.277 --> 00:12:03.060
And when I say most people, I would say 82% of people are stressed, anxious, depressed.
230
00:12:03.220 --> 00:12:07.522
And I would say over 90% of people have emotional resistance present.
231
00:12:07.822 --> 00:12:11.124
It's a rare, it's a unicorn, man, when you've got nothing.
232
00:12:11.224 --> 00:12:15.526
But when you come into my program, you learn how to master the mind and the state of being, which is the cause.
233
00:12:15.546 --> 00:12:17.907
Now, I don't want anyone living in this state of being of resistance.
234
00:12:19.168 --> 00:12:20.591
So you get resistance, doesn't feel good.
235
00:12:20.611 --> 00:12:21.653
Acceptance feels good.
236
00:12:21.673 --> 00:12:24.439
Now everybody tells you positive, negative emotions.
237
00:12:24.459 --> 00:12:25.742
There's no such thing.
238
00:12:26.796 --> 00:12:28.177
as a positive negative emotion.
239
00:12:28.918 --> 00:12:30.199
There are emotions that feel good.
240
00:12:30.499 --> 00:12:32.001
We call them states of being of acceptance.
241
00:12:32.021 --> 00:12:33.522
There's emotions that don't feel good.
242
00:12:34.543 --> 00:12:36.445
We call those resistant emotions, right?
243
00:12:36.465 --> 00:12:39.107
But there's no negative, there's no positive.
244
00:12:39.568 --> 00:12:40.949
Everybody tries to be positive.
245
00:12:41.089 --> 00:12:43.892
It's a bunch of fricking bullshit, man, right?
246
00:12:44.272 --> 00:12:52.139
Just be aware and be healthy, but you're not gonna walk into a funeral or a wake and tell the grieving family not to grieve because that's a negative emotion.
247
00:12:52.840 --> 00:12:56.723
A six-year-old skins their knee on the sidewalk, and they go running into you as a parent.
248
00:12:57.263 --> 00:12:57.903
And what do you do?
249
00:12:57.923 --> 00:12:59.344
Do you say, hey, don't cry.
250
00:12:59.364 --> 00:13:00.425
That's a negative emotion.
251
00:13:00.985 --> 00:13:03.047
You say, all right, let me make it better.
252
00:13:03.067 --> 00:13:04.447
Let me clean it up, put a band-aid on it.
253
00:13:04.848 --> 00:13:06.749
And you understand why they're crying.
254
00:13:07.189 --> 00:13:12.993
If you're a committed professional, you have a business, or you're a salesperson, and you lose a deal, you're going to be happy about that?
255
00:13:13.413 --> 00:13:14.414
No, you're going to be pissed off.
256
00:13:14.454 --> 00:13:15.594
That's the normal emotion.
257
00:13:16.395 --> 00:13:19.697
Go into a losing team's locker room after a championship game.
258
00:13:19.797 --> 00:13:20.498
Pick the sport.
259
00:13:21.178 --> 00:13:21.918
They're not happy.
260
00:13:22.538 --> 00:13:23.139
They're sad.
261
00:13:23.319 --> 00:13:23.959
They're dejected.
262
00:13:23.979 --> 00:13:26.840
If they were happy, coaches are going to be really pissed off about that.
263
00:13:27.460 --> 00:13:28.560
They're all normal emotions.
264
00:13:28.780 --> 00:13:29.820
They're all necessary emotions.
265
00:13:29.900 --> 00:13:31.621
It's okay to experience every emotion.
266
00:13:32.181 --> 00:13:35.282
The problem comes when we experience every emotion on repeat.
267
00:13:35.822 --> 00:13:36.822
We keep revisiting.
268
00:13:36.842 --> 00:13:37.782
We keep talking about it.
269
00:13:37.802 --> 00:13:38.723
We keep dwelling on it.
270
00:13:38.743 --> 00:13:39.863
We keep ruminating about it.
271
00:13:39.883 --> 00:13:41.143
We keep everything.
272
00:13:41.823 --> 00:13:43.164
And now it becomes a habit.
273
00:13:43.924 --> 00:13:45.305
And then you think, well, I've got a disorder.
274
00:13:45.705 --> 00:13:48.906
And these Jagoff doctors out there, they're handing out these prescription drugs.
275
00:13:48.986 --> 00:13:50.707
And, you know, I'm a direct guy.
276
00:13:50.727 --> 00:13:51.688
So, yeah, they're Jagoffs.
277
00:13:52.368 --> 00:13:56.410
Giving out the Xanax and the Prozac and the Lexapro and the Klonopin and all the bullshit.
278
00:13:57.330 --> 00:13:57.911
It's a drug.
279
00:13:57.931 --> 00:14:01.432
They say, well, you've got ADD and you've got this, general anxiety disorder.
280
00:14:01.452 --> 00:14:02.413
So take this drug.
281
00:14:03.293 --> 00:14:06.355
And I always say on my podcast, right, on these episodes, right, drink vodka.
282
00:14:07.135 --> 00:14:09.436
You have a beer and it'll be the same thing.
283
00:14:09.476 --> 00:14:12.337
And many people do, unfortunately, they'll self-medicate.
284
00:14:12.357 --> 00:14:13.657
I'm not telling you to do any of that shit.
285
00:14:14.098 --> 00:14:15.338
I'm telling you to fix the problem.
286
00:14:15.938 --> 00:14:18.119
Clear the resistance that's built up over a lifetime.
287
00:14:18.579 --> 00:14:22.340
And then you free your mind and your mind starts operating better.
288
00:14:23.061 --> 00:14:27.782
So that first thing that your state of being is going to do that you've trained and conditioned it to be in.
289
00:14:27.822 --> 00:14:28.723
Think about a divorce.
290
00:14:29.798 --> 00:14:33.659
And you ruminate, you talk and you obsess and you keep revisiting that divorce.
291
00:14:33.679 --> 00:14:35.140
That son of a bitch did this and that.
292
00:14:35.660 --> 00:14:37.601
She did that and all that crap, right?
293
00:14:37.641 --> 00:14:38.341
That I used to do.
294
00:14:38.381 --> 00:14:41.362
I'd stop strangers on the street to talk about while I was going through my divorce.
295
00:14:42.002 --> 00:14:43.903
What I learned when I teach now, I never did again.
296
00:14:44.603 --> 00:14:45.764
Because it's toxic.
297
00:14:46.344 --> 00:14:47.024
It's unhealthy.
298
00:14:47.564 --> 00:14:48.184
It's poison.
299
00:14:48.905 --> 00:14:49.745
So you got to stop.
300
00:14:50.165 --> 00:14:52.466
You got to stop training that mind to be in those states.
301
00:14:53.286 --> 00:14:57.829
So now the first thing the mind is going to do, the energetic state of being is going to be shown to you.
302
00:14:57.909 --> 00:15:06.714
It always communicates to you through thoughts, words, memories, beliefs, emotions, actions, excuse me, and results.
303
00:15:07.855 --> 00:15:10.357
You'll always know what your state of being is based on what you're living.
304
00:15:11.442 --> 00:15:12.243
what you're experiencing.
305
00:15:12.263 --> 00:15:13.964
Show me somebody who's wildly successful.
306
00:15:14.365 --> 00:15:18.068
Financially, I'll show somebody that's in a state of being a flow with money and self-worth.
307
00:15:18.749 --> 00:15:21.772
They deserve, they believe they deserve that wealth and they have it.
308
00:15:22.352 --> 00:15:25.535
Show me someone that struggles financially like I did, right?
309
00:15:25.896 --> 00:15:30.700
I'll show you somebody that is in a low self-esteem or looks at money as difficult.
310
00:15:30.760 --> 00:15:31.180
Money is a...
311
00:15:32.141 --> 00:15:34.283
excuse my language, you're a fucked up subject, guys.
312
00:15:35.064 --> 00:15:40.108
So many people just fear money, doesn't grow on trees, root of all evil, don't trust people.
313
00:15:40.128 --> 00:15:42.670
It's all the shit, the baggage we've collected over money.
314
00:15:43.491 --> 00:15:45.373
Show me one person that flows with money.
315
00:15:45.393 --> 00:15:47.134
That means that, okay, their belief is different.
316
00:15:47.615 --> 00:15:49.857
Their expectation is different than your belief.
317
00:15:50.337 --> 00:15:53.119
And so many people struggle in that area, but that's a state of being.
318
00:15:54.100 --> 00:15:59.305
Now, the second thing that the state of being does, besides send you all this dialogue so you can know what your state of being is,
319
00:16:00.265 --> 00:16:00.845
It attracts.
320
00:16:01.326 --> 00:16:02.827
This law of vibration is real.
321
00:16:02.867 --> 00:16:06.370
And I'll do an episode on the law one day and the law of vibration.
322
00:16:06.930 --> 00:16:09.272
And it's detailed in my book, Chapter 9.
323
00:16:09.872 --> 00:16:12.394
And the law of vibration.
324
00:16:12.874 --> 00:16:14.155
And everything is energy.
325
00:16:14.596 --> 00:16:18.359
Me, you, this desk, this open space in this office, it's all energy.
326
00:16:19.019 --> 00:16:21.040
So the law is real, but it's the state of being.
327
00:16:21.060 --> 00:16:22.460
It's not your positive thinking.
328
00:16:22.881 --> 00:16:28.563
If you positive think, I'm great, I'm great, I want money, I want relationship, I'm blessed, I'm affirming this every day.
329
00:16:28.683 --> 00:16:33.685
If you're in an energetic state that's not in harmony with those words you're speaking, it's bullshit.
330
00:16:33.845 --> 00:16:34.385
It won't work.
331
00:16:34.785 --> 00:16:36.406
You have to get in this state of being.
332
00:16:37.026 --> 00:16:38.287
That's feeling good.
333
00:16:39.367 --> 00:16:45.192
All the programs out there tell you to think positive and meditate and journal and ice bath and breathe and distract.
334
00:16:47.213 --> 00:16:50.796
That stuff's trying to get you, but it gets you a temporary state of being a feel better.
335
00:16:50.816 --> 00:16:57.281
When you're doing yoga, you're going to feel relaxed with the beautiful music and the yoga teacher's voice.
336
00:16:57.381 --> 00:16:58.382
So namaste.
337
00:16:58.762 --> 00:17:00.043
You're going to feel good for about an hour.
338
00:17:00.583 --> 00:17:02.905
And you go back in your life, your states of being will be the same.
339
00:17:03.526 --> 00:17:04.887
Okay, what you've trained them to be.
340
00:17:05.487 --> 00:17:09.469
So let's cut the bullshit and let's change the state of being because that's the key.
341
00:17:10.069 --> 00:17:10.349
Okay.
342
00:17:10.629 --> 00:17:13.010
Because you're going to attract things like I did.
343
00:17:13.030 --> 00:17:18.473
The whole shit show, Broken Sage stories in chapters three and four and even one too.
344
00:17:19.233 --> 00:17:21.674
It was me the entire time.
345
00:17:21.714 --> 00:17:24.555
It was my state of being that did all the work, man.
346
00:17:24.595 --> 00:17:25.696
And the state of being will do the work.
347
00:17:25.716 --> 00:17:31.218
But the beauty of this is when you get into a state of being of acceptance, which I'm going to teach you an overview right here today.
348
00:17:32.118 --> 00:17:33.119
then everything starts to flow.
349
00:17:33.139 --> 00:17:34.040
But you've got to master this.
350
00:17:34.080 --> 00:17:35.161
You can't half-ass it.
351
00:17:35.241 --> 00:17:35.741
It's hard.
352
00:17:36.321 --> 00:17:40.604
When you're a resistance, for you to sit down and do what I'm going to tell you to do, mind's going to fight you.
353
00:17:41.005 --> 00:17:42.105
Because the mind, you've trained it.
354
00:17:42.125 --> 00:17:43.927
So the mind's going to say, well, we're this.
355
00:17:44.607 --> 00:17:47.910
Think about like the person that looks in the mirror every day.
356
00:17:48.910 --> 00:17:50.291
And you're no good.
357
00:17:50.671 --> 00:18:04.318
You know, Michael Jackson, God rest his soul, the greatest performer in the history of performance, in my opinion, his dad told him all the time that, I think he used to tell him, you're too dark and you got a big nose.
358
00:18:05.378 --> 00:18:12.142
And so what happens to Michael Jackson every day from the guy that's supposed to be his hero and he'd get his ass kicked like I did when I was a child
359
00:18:12.982 --> 00:18:15.384
And every day his dad's telling him, you got a big nose, you're too dark.
360
00:18:16.064 --> 00:18:17.145
What does Michael Jackson do?
361
00:18:17.625 --> 00:18:22.729
He changed his nose, not once, many times, and he lightens his skin.
362
00:18:23.569 --> 00:18:24.650
And it destroyed the guy.
363
00:18:25.211 --> 00:18:31.655
The resistance that he kept day after day, week after week, month after month, it just, like, it destroyed him.
364
00:18:32.215 --> 00:18:33.096
He was never happy.
365
00:18:33.756 --> 00:18:40.021
And he found, like, Netherland, and he'd hang, you know, kids at the, and I'm not going to get into the bullshit charges and stuff, he was exonerated, but...
366
00:18:41.862 --> 00:18:42.622
I don't care about that.
367
00:18:42.822 --> 00:18:45.744
But I'm saying he was in resistance his whole life.
368
00:18:46.384 --> 00:18:51.407
The most talented performer we've ever known, but he was told is from somebody that mattered.
369
00:18:52.007 --> 00:18:52.548
He was ugly.
370
00:18:52.628 --> 00:18:53.408
He had a big nose.
371
00:18:53.428 --> 00:18:54.048
He was too dark.
372
00:18:54.789 --> 00:19:00.612
So he lived with that state of being, that belief, and then he did all that work to try to change who he was.
373
00:19:00.672 --> 00:19:02.033
And he was a good-looking guy, man.
374
00:19:02.353 --> 00:19:05.595
You look at, like, Off the Wall, the cover of Off the Wall.
375
00:19:05.615 --> 00:19:06.175
Yeah.
376
00:19:06.375 --> 00:19:07.896
He was a good-looking dude, man.
377
00:19:08.457 --> 00:19:10.698
And he was the best performer in the world, right?
378
00:19:10.718 --> 00:19:11.599
But he didn't believe it.
379
00:19:12.119 --> 00:19:18.244
You're always going to experience what you believe and what you expect, which is a byproduct of your state of being, okay?
380
00:19:18.624 --> 00:19:21.586
So now, this law is absolute.
381
00:19:21.706 --> 00:19:24.888
If I let go of this pen, it falls, okay?
382
00:19:24.908 --> 00:19:25.989
I guarantee it.
383
00:19:26.830 --> 00:19:30.893
The law of vibration is just as powerful, but it's your state of being, okay?
384
00:19:31.413 --> 00:19:32.394
that ignites this law.
385
00:19:32.614 --> 00:19:34.336
You've got to master your state of being.
386
00:19:34.376 --> 00:19:35.937
Stop the bullshit distractions.
387
00:19:35.977 --> 00:19:36.758
Stop the crap.
388
00:19:37.238 --> 00:19:39.000
Oh, I do my mindset work every day.
389
00:19:39.300 --> 00:19:42.463
You know, and then you feel like shit when you wake up in the morning every day.
390
00:19:42.803 --> 00:19:43.724
I can promise you this.
391
00:19:44.124 --> 00:19:46.947
For 19 years since I've mastered this work, I felt great.
392
00:19:47.527 --> 00:19:48.768
I don't wake up in bad moods.
393
00:19:48.948 --> 00:19:49.768
I had moments.
394
00:19:49.848 --> 00:19:51.129
I could be pissed off with the rest.
395
00:19:51.149 --> 00:19:52.010
I might be frustrated.
396
00:19:52.750 --> 00:19:54.071
I can let you have it.
397
00:19:54.791 --> 00:19:57.273
And verbally, if you will.
398
00:19:57.753 --> 00:19:59.354
But we all, it's our right.
399
00:19:59.414 --> 00:20:01.095
It's our gift to experience those emotions.
400
00:20:01.115 --> 00:20:02.096
But I can promise you this.
401
00:20:02.916 --> 00:20:03.597
I love what I do.
402
00:20:04.197 --> 00:20:05.298
I wake up happy every day.
403
00:20:05.418 --> 00:20:06.699
I've got my version of...
404
00:20:07.534 --> 00:20:11.656
of a spectacular life with the challenges, with the stuff that never ends.
405
00:20:12.156 --> 00:20:14.398
As long as you're breathing, you're going to experience resistance.
406
00:20:14.898 --> 00:20:15.578
It's never going to end.
407
00:20:16.119 --> 00:20:20.801
So our job is now to understand and respect this law and understand that the state of being is the cause.
408
00:20:21.682 --> 00:20:22.102
Period.
409
00:20:22.322 --> 00:20:23.322
End of story.
410
00:20:23.923 --> 00:20:32.047
Now, how do we go from a state of being of resistance, which is learned, conditioned behavior, to acceptance by accepting it?
411
00:20:32.507 --> 00:20:33.788
Now, if every emotion is normal,
412
00:20:34.615 --> 00:20:36.516
And every emotion is necessary, right?
413
00:20:36.556 --> 00:20:38.338
Every state of being is normal and necessary.
414
00:20:38.358 --> 00:20:40.739
You don't tell the grieving family not to experience it.
415
00:20:40.759 --> 00:20:41.900
We're going to start embracing it.
416
00:20:42.180 --> 00:20:43.921
Now, we've got to understand where it comes from.
417
00:20:43.941 --> 00:20:50.126
Number one, either I learned it throughout my life to be in these states of being, like I describe in The Broken Sage in detail,
418
00:20:51.086 --> 00:20:54.728
Um, and I teach my clients that, or something's going on in your life right now.
419
00:20:55.189 --> 00:20:56.029
You lost a game.
420
00:20:56.049 --> 00:20:57.590
You, you, you lost a sale.
421
00:20:58.090 --> 00:20:59.571
A key employee just quit on you.
422
00:21:00.292 --> 00:21:02.333
Um, you're afraid of the promotion, whatever it is.
423
00:21:02.833 --> 00:21:04.294
It's all normal, right?
424
00:21:04.314 --> 00:21:08.136
It's all normal, but you're going to attract and create more of it.
425
00:21:08.176 --> 00:21:09.357
People are in a state of being of need.
426
00:21:09.897 --> 00:21:12.999
No matter how good looking they are, they can never find a great relationship.
427
00:21:13.740 --> 00:21:14.620
Something's lacking.
428
00:21:14.680 --> 00:21:16.141
They got somebody telling them every day to love.
429
00:21:16.401 --> 00:21:17.702
They still feel, they love them.
430
00:21:17.762 --> 00:21:18.683
They still feel lonely.
431
00:21:18.703 --> 00:21:19.163
Um,
432
00:21:19.323 --> 00:21:20.064
as they're in a state of being.
433
00:21:20.604 --> 00:21:25.387
Need was a big one for me because I didn't have the parent example when I was growing up.
434
00:21:25.447 --> 00:21:28.089
So I didn't like, so need, I always needed something.
435
00:21:28.109 --> 00:21:28.809
I needed friendship.
436
00:21:28.829 --> 00:21:29.690
I needed acknowledgement.
437
00:21:29.710 --> 00:21:30.690
I needed recognition.
438
00:21:30.730 --> 00:21:31.411
I needed money.
439
00:21:31.911 --> 00:21:33.692
I needed whatever, and I never got it.
440
00:21:34.413 --> 00:21:35.673
Okay, I had it temporarily.
441
00:21:35.693 --> 00:21:36.894
I always lose it.
442
00:21:37.074 --> 00:21:37.314
Why?
443
00:21:37.334 --> 00:21:39.596
Because that was my state of being and I self-sabotage.
444
00:21:39.616 --> 00:21:40.056
So now...
445
00:21:41.517 --> 00:21:42.998
You've got to understand and embrace.
446
00:21:43.058 --> 00:21:45.020
I'm in this state of being because I trained it to be there.
447
00:21:45.040 --> 00:21:45.781
I didn't know how I did.
448
00:21:45.801 --> 00:21:46.461
It just happened.
449
00:21:46.782 --> 00:21:48.043
Or I'm experiencing something.
450
00:21:48.483 --> 00:21:52.927
If you hit the dog on a newspaper every day and you ask for the newspaper, it's going to be afraid of you.
451
00:21:53.988 --> 00:21:55.549
And you'd say, yeah, because I keep hitting it.
452
00:21:55.849 --> 00:21:56.230
I get it.
453
00:21:56.970 --> 00:21:58.932
And don't question that.
454
00:21:59.152 --> 00:22:01.054
You train the mind to be at what it is.
455
00:22:01.454 --> 00:22:04.377
You had help from your parents, your childhood, society, whatever.
456
00:22:04.857 --> 00:22:06.198
All the bullshit labels, right?
457
00:22:06.218 --> 00:22:07.699
Who's the bad person in all the movies?
458
00:22:07.719 --> 00:22:07.840
Right.
459
00:22:08.440 --> 00:22:09.661
the rich person, right?
460
00:22:09.681 --> 00:22:11.681
Think of It's a Wonderful Life.
461
00:22:11.721 --> 00:22:16.423
Mr. Potter, the only rich guy in town, or one of the rich guys in town, was the bad guy.
462
00:22:17.224 --> 00:22:18.344
And look at every Disney.
463
00:22:19.485 --> 00:22:21.245
The bad person's always the wealthy person.
464
00:22:21.265 --> 00:22:24.767
I think Cruella de Vil and Dalmatian, I think she had a ton of money.
465
00:22:25.947 --> 00:22:27.828
So all the bad people are always people with money.
466
00:22:27.848 --> 00:22:28.929
Well, that's conditioning, man.
467
00:22:29.750 --> 00:22:31.852
All right, so you've got to understand, you've got control.
468
00:22:32.273 --> 00:22:35.336
Name this podcast, Life is an Inside Job, so let's get to it.
469
00:22:36.056 --> 00:22:37.638
You're going to embrace the state of being you're in.
470
00:22:38.259 --> 00:22:38.659
Every time.
471
00:22:38.699 --> 00:22:41.542
Now, it's not about, it's like, yeah, golly gee, you know, it's okay.
472
00:22:41.983 --> 00:22:42.723
I'm positive.
473
00:22:42.763 --> 00:22:43.244
I'm in the state.
474
00:22:43.284 --> 00:22:43.464
No.
475
00:22:44.205 --> 00:22:46.767
You literally, deliberately accept your state of being.
476
00:22:47.537 --> 00:22:50.719
You identify a state of being, and it's a simple phrase I teach my clients.
477
00:22:50.739 --> 00:22:54.181
I accept that I'm experiencing blank right now, and that's okay.
478
00:22:54.221 --> 00:22:56.643
The blank is the state of being that you're in.
479
00:22:57.163 --> 00:23:03.548
The reason why does it matter is I accept that I'm experiencing fear right now because of this upcoming appointment.
480
00:23:03.968 --> 00:23:06.289
It doesn't have anything to do with the because.
481
00:23:07.330 --> 00:23:09.951
It has everything to do with the state of being.
482
00:23:10.671 --> 00:23:17.954
When I get my clients, my private clients, and I get them all, they're into a state of acceptance, their life dramatically turns around.
483
00:23:18.814 --> 00:23:22.196
And we've got so many client stories, testimonials, and things.
484
00:23:22.216 --> 00:23:23.176
There's hundreds of them out there.
485
00:23:23.196 --> 00:23:25.637
We've got almost a perfect five-star rating on Trustpound.
486
00:23:26.237 --> 00:23:27.117
I've been doing this a long time.
487
00:23:27.137 --> 00:23:29.638
We've got hundreds of reviews there, almost five-star.
488
00:23:29.998 --> 00:23:32.499
How can that be on an online space in mental health?
489
00:23:33.240 --> 00:23:35.120
It's because the state of being is the law.
490
00:23:35.421 --> 00:23:36.081
It's the cause.
491
00:23:37.062 --> 00:23:38.844
And everything you experience is the effect.
492
00:23:38.924 --> 00:23:41.548
But unfortunately, so many humans are dealing with the effect.
493
00:23:42.289 --> 00:23:44.413
We need to deal with the cause, the state of being.
494
00:23:44.433 --> 00:23:48.299
I don't give a shit how many things you have that you feel are so stressful and you're going to get through.
495
00:23:48.759 --> 00:23:49.520
It's all bullshit.
496
00:23:49.541 --> 00:23:51.303
You got to get attention off the poison.
497
00:23:52.144 --> 00:23:55.187
In your life, the circumstances, and onto your state of being.
498
00:23:56.027 --> 00:23:58.710
So thought comes up, reflecting fear.
499
00:23:59.270 --> 00:24:00.992
I accept that I'm experiencing fear right now.
500
00:24:01.552 --> 00:24:02.153
That's okay.
501
00:24:02.693 --> 00:24:04.034
Next thought comes in, but I don't like it.
502
00:24:04.655 --> 00:24:07.417
I accept that I'm experiencing resistance right now, and that's okay.
503
00:24:07.457 --> 00:24:09.278
Next thought comes in, what if I don't get this deal?
504
00:24:09.939 --> 00:24:11.841
I accept that I'm experiencing pressure right now.
505
00:24:11.861 --> 00:24:12.721
So the thought comes up.
506
00:24:13.642 --> 00:24:17.224
You identify the state of being and you accept the state of being.
507
00:24:17.264 --> 00:24:19.404
Now, this is not a one-off thing.
508
00:24:19.424 --> 00:24:24.747
You do it for two minutes and five minutes and then you spend 15 and a half hours of your day, you know, obsessed with the bullshit.
509
00:24:25.087 --> 00:24:26.187
That's not acceptance.
510
00:24:26.667 --> 00:24:27.028
Okay.
511
00:24:27.368 --> 00:24:28.288
That's avoidance.
512
00:24:28.468 --> 00:24:29.669
That's, you know, okay.
513
00:24:30.749 --> 00:24:36.053
I did 16 straight hours one day of acceptance early on in my understanding of this teaching, right?
514
00:24:36.413 --> 00:24:38.194
If there was something better out there, I would have learned it.
515
00:24:38.955 --> 00:24:40.416
And I would be eventually teaching that.
516
00:24:41.116 --> 00:24:42.377
And I didn't set out to be a coach.
517
00:24:42.658 --> 00:24:45.359
But once I learned this, I thought, you've got to teach this to other people.
518
00:24:46.020 --> 00:24:49.642
And I spent the last 18 years of my life doing it and helping people master this stuff.
519
00:24:50.463 --> 00:24:52.045
And the more you do it, the more you're going to master it.
520
00:24:52.405 --> 00:24:53.846
And that's the beauty of our community.
521
00:24:54.307 --> 00:24:56.088
We hold people's feet to the fire to do it.
522
00:24:56.129 --> 00:24:59.772
But I did six, I said, I had so much resistance, man.
523
00:25:00.353 --> 00:25:04.557
And I had nothing really going on at work in 2006, 2007, whatever the hell it was.
524
00:25:05.297 --> 00:25:08.881
And I said, okay, you're going to do a whole day of acceptance.
525
00:25:09.381 --> 00:25:10.903
And it turned out to be 16 straight hours.
526
00:25:11.023 --> 00:25:11.323
No TV.
527
00:25:11.343 --> 00:25:11.463
No TV.
528
00:25:12.504 --> 00:25:19.631
No radio, no phone, no computer, me alone in my place all day, accepting my state of being.
529
00:25:19.671 --> 00:25:20.872
It had to be 5,000, 10,000.
530
00:25:20.952 --> 00:25:22.193
I don't know how many times I said it.
531
00:25:23.034 --> 00:25:26.317
But every time I did, I was clearing out a layer of resistance that built up.
532
00:25:27.082 --> 00:25:28.643
over several decades prior to that.
533
00:25:29.324 --> 00:25:30.144
And that's what you're doing.
534
00:25:31.305 --> 00:25:35.108
This energetic force that we are, it keeps track of everything in our mind.
535
00:25:35.428 --> 00:25:40.311
And I believe there's emotional storage units, some way, shape, or form.
536
00:25:40.591 --> 00:25:43.493
That's why people who are stressed and overwhelmed, they start to lose color in their face.
537
00:25:44.214 --> 00:25:48.297
They start to get fatigued, burnt out, exhausted, breakdowns.
538
00:25:49.097 --> 00:25:55.163
Healthy people, physically healthy people have breakdowns because the buildup of resistance shuts people down.
539
00:25:56.164 --> 00:26:03.651
When I was a young man in resistance, I was at Disney World with my kids and I was fatigued.
540
00:26:04.112 --> 00:26:04.772
I was tired.
541
00:26:05.213 --> 00:26:05.914
I was in good shape.
542
00:26:06.574 --> 00:26:07.355
I'm like, why am I?
543
00:26:07.375 --> 00:26:10.358
I remember just keep wanting to sit on benches and I thought I was sick.
544
00:26:10.378 --> 00:26:11.919
And that was how I felt all the time.
545
00:26:12.520 --> 00:26:15.681
But the Disney World thing was because, like, you're in the happiest place on earth, right?
546
00:26:16.201 --> 00:26:16.842
I was fatigued.
547
00:26:17.002 --> 00:26:17.762
It was resistance.
548
00:26:17.782 --> 00:26:25.525
So any of you that, like, are tired and you're in shape, but you're fatigued, you're tired, you're exhausted every day, it's emotional resistance.
549
00:26:25.545 --> 00:26:32.688
So the more that you accept and the more that you practice acceptance, you're going to clear out that resistance layer by layer, layer by layer.
550
00:26:33.588 --> 00:26:35.529
And you don't go back to your stories.
551
00:26:35.949 --> 00:26:37.450
Remember the episode, Die for the Mind?
552
00:26:37.470 --> 00:26:37.570
Yeah.
553
00:26:38.530 --> 00:26:39.271
You don't go back.
554
00:26:39.692 --> 00:26:46.618
You keep accepting your state of being one after another and you become what I call an acceptance machine.
555
00:26:47.539 --> 00:26:48.800
So we ordered these years ago.
556
00:26:49.421 --> 00:26:52.604
One of my assistants ordered them and they said, coach, it sort of looks like you.
557
00:26:52.644 --> 00:26:56.588
I said, yeah, you know, they got a better waistline in there, but it does sort of look like me.
558
00:26:57.008 --> 00:26:58.310
But it's an acceptance machine.
559
00:26:58.890 --> 00:27:02.533
Which means your number one priority in this world, folks, is to be acceptance.
560
00:27:03.033 --> 00:27:04.994
And you start by practicing acceptance.
561
00:27:05.034 --> 00:27:06.956
I accept that I'm experiencing blank right now.
562
00:27:06.996 --> 00:27:07.476
That's okay.
563
00:27:07.836 --> 00:27:08.977
That phrase is perfect.
564
00:27:09.877 --> 00:27:10.938
Don't expand on it.
565
00:27:10.958 --> 00:27:11.659
Don't add on it.
566
00:27:11.679 --> 00:27:12.879
Don't change it.
567
00:27:14.140 --> 00:27:15.041
Because it's perfect.
568
00:27:15.801 --> 00:27:18.363
I accept means you're moving to a state of being that you prefer.
569
00:27:18.383 --> 00:27:19.504
You're choosing acceptance.
570
00:27:20.104 --> 00:27:23.608
deciding to go to acceptance by embracing the state of being you're in.
571
00:27:23.628 --> 00:27:24.989
There's no negative, no positive.
572
00:27:25.009 --> 00:27:26.891
There's just the state of being that you're in my mind to be in.
573
00:27:27.652 --> 00:27:30.535
It's okay to experience the acceptance or resistance.
574
00:27:30.555 --> 00:27:31.076
It's okay.
575
00:27:31.857 --> 00:27:37.382
So if somebody loses a loved one and they're sad, you're not going to tell them, don't be sad.
576
00:27:38.353 --> 00:27:39.073
It's normal.
577
00:27:39.554 --> 00:27:42.635
You don't tell the person who just got dumped, that's okay, you'll meet somebody else.
578
00:27:43.175 --> 00:27:43.815
That's okay.
579
00:27:43.835 --> 00:27:45.896
No, you say, I'm sorry, I'm here for you, man.
580
00:27:45.916 --> 00:27:46.377
What can I do?
581
00:27:47.057 --> 00:27:47.817
I know it hurts, man.
582
00:27:48.498 --> 00:27:51.619
And that's what you understand why they're in a state of being.
583
00:27:51.639 --> 00:27:54.600
So you've got to give yourself the gift of experiencing the state of being you're in.
584
00:27:55.241 --> 00:27:58.422
You train your mind to be there, so let's cut the bullshit and accept it.
585
00:27:58.782 --> 00:28:02.904
I accept that I'm experiencing, big key word there, experiencing.
586
00:28:03.044 --> 00:28:05.727
the state of being right now, that means it's temporary.
587
00:28:05.747 --> 00:28:06.628
You don't have a disorder.
588
00:28:06.948 --> 00:28:09.531
You don't have ADD, ADHD, bullshit disorder.
589
00:28:10.031 --> 00:28:12.394
You're experiencing emotion.
590
00:28:12.514 --> 00:28:14.716
Repeatedly means that they say, you've got a disorder.
591
00:28:14.776 --> 00:28:15.537
No, you don't.
592
00:28:16.602 --> 00:28:18.783
My clients all come to me with some type of story.
593
00:28:19.163 --> 00:28:20.343
And I say, great, you ready to get rid of it?
594
00:28:20.363 --> 00:28:23.224
They say, yes, that's why they're my clients.
595
00:28:23.324 --> 00:28:26.964
My community is filled with people who know there's an answer and they want the answer.
596
00:28:26.984 --> 00:28:27.905
It's not victims, man.
597
00:28:27.945 --> 00:28:32.106
If you feel like, ah, I want to hang on to this label because it serves me because that means I don't have to perform in life.
598
00:28:32.146 --> 00:28:34.406
Or I can use that as an excuse when I don't perform.
599
00:28:34.426 --> 00:28:35.706
Well, great, then hold on to it.
600
00:28:36.167 --> 00:28:37.067
But that's not who you are.
601
00:28:37.087 --> 00:28:39.907
And that's how people listen to this podcast, I promise you.
602
00:28:40.508 --> 00:28:42.228
So, and it's okay.
603
00:28:43.088 --> 00:28:43.948
You're giving yourself.
604
00:28:43.968 --> 00:28:45.069
So stop the fight.
605
00:28:45.129 --> 00:28:45.969
Drop the gloves.
606
00:28:46.749 --> 00:28:47.689
and just be okay.
607
00:28:48.410 --> 00:28:49.870
Master acceptance.
608
00:28:50.350 --> 00:28:50.690
Okay.
609
00:28:50.730 --> 00:28:51.570
That's the key to life.
610
00:28:51.910 --> 00:28:53.331
The state of being is the cause.
611
00:28:54.111 --> 00:28:57.452
Everything you're experiencing in your life is the effect.
612
00:28:58.112 --> 00:29:02.553
So deal with the cause because life is an inside job.
613
00:29:02.633 --> 00:29:05.994
Change your internal world and your external world will catch up.
614
00:29:06.034 --> 00:29:07.995
And all the things that you think need to be solved,
615
00:29:08.775 --> 00:29:12.497
In your life, if you stay in a state of being of resistance, you just have more things to solve.
616
00:29:13.137 --> 00:29:18.500
Get into a state of being of acceptance, you'll solve those things faster, and your whole life will transform like mine did.
617
00:29:18.880 --> 00:29:22.842
And again, TheBrokenSage.com, if you want that book, it's a powerful one.
618
00:29:23.242 --> 00:29:30.886
And I tell my story, how I got into resistance, and my whole story of rebirth, and then I give you all the processes and all the tools.
619
00:29:30.966 --> 00:29:34.788
Now, if you want to get it right the first time and get the book,
620
00:29:35.768 --> 00:29:38.050
