Last Attempt Guildcast — Dev FIRED for Cheating + Season 1 Ending + 12.1 Aug 11 + WoW News — 025

Welcome to the Last Attempt Guildcast. In this episode, Squirrelthug is joined again by guildmate Templrivanho, and we’re happy to welcome guest-host Vel. We dig into one of the wildest WoW stories in recent memory — a Blizzard employee fired for using GM-only developer tools to help cheat a +23 Nexus-Point Xe’nas key — then cover Midnight Season 1 winding down and the achievements, mounts, and dungeon teleports about to expire, the mounting evidence pointing to Patch 12.1 and Season 2 landing August 11th, plus the live BlizzCon 2026 digital bundles, a fresh round of 12.1 PTR class tuning, and Jimothy the viral Seattle raccoon somehow making his way to Azeroth.
