According to the World Economic Forum's estimates, elimination of some supply chain barriers could raise global GDP by 2.6 percent. While there are immense development and financial opportunities present in the localization of companies' supply chains, legal and logistical challenges remain.

Please join us for an expert panel discussion on how and why the private sector, NGOs, and U.S. government can employ policies and practices to expand local content in order to create economic opportunity. This event is part of CSIS’ s ongoing “Chevron Forum on Development” series, which seeks to highlight innovative approaches to global development.
