MENGENAI EPISOD INI
Christian leaders often feel pressure to appear strong, confident, and in control. But the story of the man with the withered hand reminds us that God often does His deepest work when we stop hiding our weakness and trust Him enough to respond in faith.
In Mark 3:1–6, Jesus enters a synagogue where one man has a visible physical weakness—and where several religious leaders reveal a much deeper spiritual problem. One man has a withered hand. The religious leaders have hardened hearts. Pasted text
The man with the withered hand is called into the center of the room and told to stretch out the very thing he likely wanted to conceal. Before healing came vulnerability. Before restoration came obedience. His response offers a powerful picture of faith for Christian leaders who are tempted to hide weakness behind competence, achievement, or position. Pasted text
In this episode, you'll discover:
- Why great leaders do not need to hide every weakness
- How vulnerability can become an act of courageous faith
- Why compassion must never become secondary to policies, traditions, or procedures
- How pride can quietly harden a leader's heart
- Why protecting reputation can become more dangerous than admitting weakness
- How obedient faith opens the door to growth, restoration, and deeper dependence on Christ
Jesus also exposes a second leadership warning in this passage. The Pharisees become so committed to protecting their interpretation of the rules that they stop seeing the person standing in front of them. Their example reminds Christian leaders that healthy leadership never sacrifices people merely to preserve a process. Pasted text
For leaders in business, ministry, churches, nonprofits, teams, and families, this episode asks a deeply personal question:
Will you trust Christ with the weakness you most want to hide—or protect the appearance of strength while your heart becomes less teachable?
Every leader has a "withered hand."
The real question is whether we will trust Jesus enough to stretch it out.
