Interac in conversation with fraud expert Chris Mathers — Interac as a Protector of digital prosperity

Cybercrime is no longer happening in the shadows. It’s happening in our inboxes, on our phones, and across the systems that power our economy. But how do we stay one step ahead?

In this episode of Faster Forward, host Mark Hines, Head of Product, Fraud at Interac, sits down with Chris Mathers, former undercover RCMP officer, international crime infiltrator, and leading expert on fraud and the criminal use of technology. Their conversation shines a light on the rise of cyber-enabled fraud, the tools and tactics needed to stay ahead of emerging threats, and the critical role education, collaboration, and national infrastructure play in keeping Canadians safe.
