MENGENAI EPISOD INI
Needs, Values, and Authentic Leadership
In this insightful episode, Tijen Genco and Sajili MohanChawla dive deep into the psychology of human needs, values, and authentic self-expression. Tijen introduces her Needs and Values Framework, distinguishing between inherent systemic needs—like connection, flow, and rest—and conditioned needs shaped by societal or familial expectations, such as approval or achievement. Together, they explore how unmet needs can lead to “neediness” or systemic imbalance, and how awareness andcoaching can help restore authenticity and fulfillment.
Listeners will gain a deeper understanding of intrinsicversus extrinsic motivation, emotional regulation through guilt, shame, and fear, and the transformative power of shadow work in personal and professional growth. The conversation also touches on cultural influences, leadershipgrounded in what Tijen calls noble intent, and the journey from conditioned behavior to heart-centered living.
Join Tijen and Sajili as they unpack the path to sovereignty, authenticity, and purpose—and learn more about Tijen’s upcoming Behavioral Needs Mastery Class starting April 6th.
