MENGENAI EPISOD INI
The Chicago Bears are getting plenty of national respect after their 59-point Week 1 explosion — but the first Week 2 injury report gives fans something new to watch.
Starting right tackle Darnell Wright did not practice Wednesday with a knee injury, while D’Andre Swift, Kyle Monangai, Malik Muhammad and Dayo Odeyingbo were all limited ahead of Chicago’s matchup with Minnesota.
That comes during a week where the Bears are also collecting hardware. D’Andre Swift was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week after rushing for 124 yards and three touchdowns, becoming the first Bears running back to win the honor since Jordan Howard in 2016. Caleb Williams also received weekly recognition after accounting for four touchdowns in the Bears’ historic opener.
And the national hype is growing: Chicago jumped from No. 6 to No. 2 in FOX Sports’ Week 2 power rankings, behind only Baltimore.
Haize, Bobby & C-Dub breaks down the injuries, what losing Wright would mean against Brian Flores’ pressure-heavy Vikings defense, the Caleb/Swift awards, and whether the Bears are REALLY ready for top-two expectations.
