Welcome to the Workplace Wellness podcast with me, Karen Weir. During this series, I’m going to be joined by expert guests and my colleagues to discuss the work we’ve been doing to improve wellness in the workplace.
In this episode, I’m joined by Dr. Sara Young and Rachael Cook. Sara is the director of Changing Minds with Pick Up a Penny, a North East Community Interest Company that takes an individualised approach to mental and physiological health, offering therapeutic services. Rachael is the COO at Moja, an organisation dedicated to helping individuals raise their profile, increase visibility, and create new opportunities.
Today, we're opening up the conversation about menopause. We'll discuss common symptoms, practical ways to support women going through menopause, and why it's crucial to have open conversations about it, ensuring that everyone is part of the dialogue.
