Knowledge Factories, Edge AI, and DC Power Plays: Armada’s Tech Revolution Live from Washington D.C. (9-22-26)

Broadcasting live from the Impact 250 summit in Washington, D.C., host Scott Hennen hosts an action-packed episode exploring artificial intelligence, national defense, energy strategy, and midterm politics. In the first half, Armada CEO and co-founder Dan Wright discusses how mobile, sovereign data centers are revolutionizing AI infrastructure. By moving compute power out of vulnerable, mega-scale cloud facilities and onto the "edge"—from North Dakota oil fields and Nordic hydroelectric sites to Navy ships and disaster zones—Armada is solving the massive power and latency bottlenecks facing AI deployment. Scott reflects on public AI anxiety, comparing the shift to historical breakthroughs like electricity, aviation, and the early internet. In the second half, Washington insider and North Dakota native Mark Pfeifle joins the desk to share stories from the 1997 Grand Forks flood, discuss aging leadership on Capitol Hill, and detail a practical political strategy for Republicans focused on gas prices, tax relief, and message discipline. Finally, U.S. Representative Julie Fedorchak checks in from Fargo ahead of hosting House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, breaking down legislative victories on border security, agriculture, and energy policy.
