What show was the Canadian counter to Saturday Night Live? SCTV has a cast of character actors that would last for decades to come: John Candy, Eugene Levy, Rick Moranis, Martin Short, Catherine O'Hara, Joe Flaherty, Dave Thomas, and Andrea Martin. Lucy and Corbett talk about SCTV origins and were it all went. They even go so far as talking about the differences in British, American, and Canadian humor, because everyone loves talking around humor instead of listening to the actual funny stuff.

Lucy and Corbett talk about the Heaven's Gate cult and where it all ended back in the 90's. Lots of cult talk, so if you are looking for advise on joining a cult, we don't have a lot to tell you, but plenty on the other side of that discussion.

Oddly enough, Corbett talks about the John and Lorena Bobbitt news from the 90's, as Lucy prepares for her wedding. Plenty of puns and terrible things, but a possible lesson to learn for the future.

Lucy and Corbett cover the 1974 school book burning of Slaughter House Five. Lucy eats up her time reading it like a crazy person, only to suggest therapy to the author. Lots of talk about World War 2 and aliens, so it all makes perfect sense.

What days are worth living, if they are not all happy days? Lucy and Corbett get to talk about the The Happy Days television show and a little bit of what the impact it had on TV. We will certainly all remember where we were when they "jumped the shark".
