💰 SHE MADE £47… GENIUS OR SCAM?!
What would you do if your 11-year-old casually announced they’d made £47… only to discover they’d been charging their younger sibling for things they already had in the house?
£1 to use the good charger.
50p for the best seat on the sofa.
£1.50 for priority bathroom access.
And, our personal favourite, £3 a week for “Wi-Fi Plus”… which was exactly the same Wi-Fi. 😂
Do you punish the scam, make them give all the money back, or quietly admire the entrepreneurial spirit?
That’s just one of the debates in this week’s Winging It.
We’re recording slightly differently this week, with Chris away in London with Rock Choir while Lisa holds down the fort at home. Somehow, despite being in completely different places, the usual chaos remains remarkably intact.
Also this week:
✈️ Chris nearly misses his flight after getting stuck at Glasgow Airport
👨👩👦 An AITA involving an absent father, his son and a family business being handed to the son-in-law
💰 The great £47 sibling business empire
🛜 The frankly inspired invention of “Wi-Fi Plus”
😬 Chris clears something up after being called a terrible parent online
🧠 We attempt a game that turns out to be considerably harder than expected
😂 And the usual stories, tangents, disagreements and terrible dad jokes
So, we need your verdict:
👇 If your child made £47 charging their sibling for things around the house, would you let them keep it?
And more importantly…
Genius or scam?
