Millions of people play 852 Hz "solfeggio" tracks to focus, calm down or manage ADHD.
Is there any science behind it, or is it just another wellness trend? Here's what the evidence says.
What you'll learn:
- Where the solfeggio frequency story comes from, and why music historians say it doesn't hold up
- What sound frequency actually means, and what sound really does to attention and mood
- What research says (and doesn't say) about binaural beats
- How the placebo effect and expectation shape the results people report
- Why some people with ADHD might still find these tracks helpful, from steady background sound to focus rituals
- How the wellness audio business profits from scientific-sounding claims
