I was invited back on to Josh Peacock's Combat Learning Podcast to talk about the limitations of padwork as a skill acquisition tool.
We dived into the perceptual information problems and ultimately how skill transfer is hindered with many approaches to padwork.
We discussed how we could ramp up the the 'potential' level for transfer through introducing more of an uncooperative approach.
Check out out Padwork Course at The Box Gathering where we take a different approach to padwork looking at ways we can make it more useful than what might be currently used in traditional approaches.

Within boxing circles, we all recognise the incredible role the sport plays in driving social change and creating real, measurable impact in our communities. Yet, too often, we fall short when it comes to properly capturing and evidencing that impact.
