In today’s episode, I sit down with my friend, Aminta “Minty” Scott to reminisce about our struggles as STEM majors on the pre-medical track during our undergraduate careers. Minty reflects on her unconventional path to medical school, trusting and investing in yourself to achieve your goals and the importance of appreciating the journey over doing the “right” thing. We discuss everything from recognizing our mistakes to having the “I am taking a gap year” talk with our parents. This is something that is always a hot topic amongst students and is definitely applicable to all life choices made in your twenties, beyond school.
